Never bet against Tom Brady. I hate him but he just doesn't lose in the playoffs. I also highly doubt that Peyton beats NE again.

I think the Colts can get it done this time around. They've beat the Patriots twice during the last two regular seasons... playoffs are a different animal, but I'm thinking they've got that monkey off their back.

Don't think Manning will be able to get away with a third subpar outing against the Patriots, however.

I hope so, but I doubt it. I HATE the patriots, but they will beat the colts next week and then win another super bowl :banghead2:

While I thought the Colts had their two toughest games so far, the game against the Pats scares me even more. Peyton has had two bad games. I just hope that it's not 3.
Can the Colts shake the monkey off their back. I think they can. While Brady has had lots of luck in the playoffs, they were really lucky against San Diego today with the INT/fumble turnover. If there had not been a turnover on the INT the Pats would have been history. I thought that the Colts were a very good team most of the season with a few exceptions (and I'm a huge Colts fan!) The defense has come of age in the playoffs and it's time they do again and time for the offense to step it up.
Prediction for the Super Bowl: Colts and Saints!
If the Bears by some chance get in and the Colts too, we'll have a Gator vs. Vol in the Super Bowl and the Vols/Colts will win this one!:salute:

GO COLTS, BEAT PATS!

I hope Peyton wins but it really might not matter because I think it is going to be the Saints year to win. I hope not I hate the Saints eventhough they are a really good story.

blaker, blaker one nine, can the Colts beat the Pats again this year? I know its not against the beloved air McNair so maybe you can be objective.... Besides, it's in the Dome and not in the New England frozen tundra...

I agree. I frickin' cant stand Belichick and Brady and the Pats...but you can't deny how clutch they are in the postseason. I think the Pats get it done again. :censored:

Same sentiment as everybody else... I want the Colts to win, but you just don't pick against New England in the playoffs.

Agreed. I hate the Pats too. There's a reason they keep winning though.

Pats are not the team they used to be but they keep on winning. Brady has looked like he is pressing on every play. If Peyton can have one to two big plays this game could easly go to the Colts but on the other hand if the Pats......heck I DON'T KNOW!

Alls I'm sayin...

Tom Brady threw the ball 51 times.
In an NFL playoff game.
Against the team with the best record this season.
And had 56 rush yards to back him up.

It's because they're the Pats, and that's what they do. They dally around the reguar season, have their ups and downs, but manage to feed off a terrible division and get into the playoffs. Then when that happens, they win. Nobody knows how it's done, but they just win.

Come crunch time, the ball has simply bounced their way the better part of the last decade, and I don't expect it to change.

I've already flip-flopped on this one. I think the Patriots will take it.

I dunno, I just can't make myself hate the Patriots. Maybe if they could come dance in my backyard after ripping my heart out I'd be able to get on with it and hate'em.

At Indy. Patriot magic is drowned out in the roar of the masses.

Reggie Wayne 2tds...
Colts, 28-17

New England is not worthy this year y'all....

The Colts defense has stepped it up against two teams that made it simple. KC does nothing but run, so Indy put an extra man in the box and BOOM the run was stopped. Balt has no offense, not hard to stop that. Although I still think 5 SCORING drives is still pretty good against the Ravens defense. Peyton did a great job gettting the ball down the field and killing the clock at the end.

However, the Pats offense will be the best all around offense the Colts will have faced in the playoffs. I think Peyton has a great game, but so will Tom Brady. The Pats are playing better all around football right now and I think they also get the edge in the coaching department.

My heart says:

Colts 27
Patriots 24

My mind says:

Patriots 27
Colts 20

Either way...I'll be at the dome for the game! :)

just like last week...still not a believer...rooting for the colts, but i can't see them beating the pats with a superbowl on the line, even in the dome. pucker factor will be oh so high in indy Sunday evening.

and unfortunately, you have the pats on the other sideline, wearing their "been there, done that, got the t shirt" t shirts.............if i were betting on this, i'd take the pats.

and i still hate them too. i want them to lose. i really, really do.

That's what it comes down to. How tight will the Colts be? How will Manning perform in what he knows is very likely a career-defining game?

If the Colts' defense plays close to how they've played the last two weeks and Manning doesn't lay an egg, the Colts will win this game. They should be able to score; after last week, it'll feel like the offense is playing against the practice squad. If the Colts don't turn the ball over, then I think Manning will get his shot at a title.

and i still hate them too. i want them to lose. i really, really do.

If you can't hate Tom Brady, then you're either from Boston, an alumnus of Michigan, or a bastard. Or two out of three.
