He did a question and answer on ESPN sports nation with a few other recruits, here are a few of his highlights.

Jason (Knoxville, TN): I wanted to ask Patrick Turner if Crompton had convinced him to come to Rocky Top? He would be another great addition to an already great class.

Patrick Turner: I like UT. I do. It's a good program. But I'm still making my decision between UT and USC.

NICK (Cali): Mr. Turner, when do you plan on maknig you decision? Also, how likely is it that you are going to be a Trojan next year?

Patrick Turner: I'll decide this Saturday during or after the game.

Sam (Los Angeles): Patrick, which school has most heavily recruited you so far?

Patrick Turner: UT. Right off the bit. Junior year.

Freddy (SF, CA): How big are you right now? And what would you say your forty time was? Thanks Patrick, hope to see you in Cardinal and Gold next year!

Patrick Turner: 6-4 and a half, 215. Last spring I was a 4.53 in the 40.

Ed (Chattanooga, TN): Patrick, have you been to a night game at Neyland Stadium before?

Patrick Turner: Yup. I went to the Auburn, ND and Florida game. One of them was at night I think. I know it got dark. It was crazy.

Jake (Nashville, TN): Will proximity come into play? I know your parents want to see you play as much as possible.

Patrick Turner: It plays a role. Family is so important. Me beign in Knoxville would only be 2 hours away. Plus people would show me love being from the hometown.

Dan (Nashville, TN): Patrick, will Tennessee's depth at receiver influence your decision?

Patrick Turner: Won't affect me.

im not so sure that with his athletic stats some time in the weight room he wouldnt be a better TE than a WR :twocents:

I think that if he comes here, he will become one of Ainge's favorite targets with that size. We already have some good tight ends. No need to make him one.

people are talking that he is the BEST PLAYER on both sides of the ball at the East West game in San Antonio.

the scouts and the reports are drooling all over him and getting more attention that d. williams. he has been a solid #3 recruit at WR all year.

i thought our depth scared him off but believe me, we want this instate talent to stay here. COME ON MR. MRS. TURNER!!! DONT LET YOUR BABY BOY GO!! :)

how bout another flying vol??

If he indeed comes to UT it'll be as a WR and nothing else and that is all he'll play while at UT.

That answer has me confident that he'll be putting on a UT hat when he makes his decision on Saturday.

Seems he and JC have been playing a lot of catch this week. That cannot hurt. C'mon JC give him the good word.

Im thinking his height, lack of blazing speed may keep him from being a trojan anyway. He runs a 4.53 40?...there are lb's that run that...i say bulk him up to say 240....then let him be the TE that looks great on a bootleg

NO WAY, Have you guys seen this guy? He is a big tall skinny receiver with great hands. I have seen several of his highlights, he is going to play WR...period!
