Patience

Plenty of us saw 2019 for what it was, and weren't singing Pruitt's praises for beatng the dregs of the SEC.

You convinced yourself that he was a good coach, and then 2020 hit and now you are looking for every other reason for Pruitt to have failed, that doesn't involve him being a bad coach.

Let it go. You'll feel better in the long run once you accept reality, and stop manufacturing excuses for a guy who will never be a HC again once UT fires him.

You wouldn't know a head coach if you ran your head up his butt. Another arm chair that knows more about coaching than a man getting paid to actually do it. Sit back, pop your pabst blue ribbon and sit down.

Tennessee fans will need patience because things will be very rough this coming season.

That's a serious boner you have for Pruitt. Call the doc if it's still there after he gets fired, you might have an issue with coach worship.

Adolescent reply! No I just don't want to fire a coach that went through a pandemic year when he couldn't prepare his team in the manner he's accustomed to. But if you want him gone so be it, but it's not going to happen until after next year but since your all knowing, who's UT going to get??????????????????

Tap a nerve there? Too many Pabst I guess.

Covid had nothing to do with the lack of QB development over 3 seasons.

Covid had nothing to do with the complete staff turnover over 3 seasons.

Covid had nothing to do with losing to the likes of Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia State, or BYU.

I know you love him because he speaks like you, and eats cornbread and MoonPies with RC Cola like you, but that doesn't make him a competent SEC head coach.

i agree herre. Pruitt is learning otj and yes it can be frustrating.....but i think this yr and next it pays off. When a coach is learning, u hit a basement....and then up.

though i agree with ur points and they make perfect sense....he's not a proven SEC football coach yet! i think he's about to turn that corner

Based on what empirical evidence? He can't make halftime adjustments, what indicator has he displayed that makes him even remotely capable of the seachange in coaching philosophy it would require for him to be successful as a HC?

What is your major malfunction? The moon pies was clever but no I don't eat them. Now cornbread on yeah wife fries it and it's amazing would send you some but nahhhhh you would be siding with Pruitt who you absolutely hate. Say what you want, and I agree we lost games we shouldn't have. I agree but as I said before if we fire him tell me who are we gonna get? You have all the answers answer that wise guy!

And your co-vid argument had nothing to do to this year. I will give you this lack of second half adjustment cost us games. we were terrible and I agree with that. But I can't get behind firing a man in a pandemic.

Not knowing who the next coach will be, is not a valid reason for keeping a coach who is not only failing, but also has us in the crosshairs of a possible NCAA investigation.

I gave this a like, because you did an incredible job of spotlighting the things that people on here harped on profusely throughout this season. Phil, "christen him Beldar Cornbread " Fulmer addiction to donuts, and JG still overthrowing the ball while in the Transfer Portal 🤣🤣🤣.

I laughed the whole time while I was reading it. Wasn't laughing at you. Because you're right. And it's sooooo sad that it has gotten to this point.

It's obvious that you want things to change as much as everyone else. But for some reason you can't understand HOW it needs to change.
Which is very confusing to me, because your'e obviously a smart guy.

Pruitt is the most unqualified HC in the history of Tennessee Football. There is a time for patience and a time for swift action. Every day he's coach here is a small step back for UT football.
Sure, yes, Little. We needed change. And we're getting it. That's all for the good.

Just really, really tired of the childishness ... spitefulness ... vindictiveness of the vocal majority on this forum. Not sure how the internet has done it, but it has reverted many of us back to a level of immaturity we mostly outgrew in our school days.

I'm still around, Jack. Just had to take a break from all the negativity.

Trying to dictate what is posted on a message board can be mentally taxing on some. 82 is proof of that.
