I didn't expect this out of UT fans but your reaction to this loss is sad. I've read posts that put Bama down for only scoring 6 points, one post said that Bama wouldn't stand a chance against USC, there are all sorts of sore losers on this board. Yeah, we scored 6 points. But you know what? We won and yall scored 3 and lost. Bama probably would get stomped by USC, but guess what? That doesn't matter. That has nothing to do with the Bama-UT game, you were just looking for anything to put Bama down because, and here's the thing that does matter, Bama beat UT. Your team put up a great fight, your defense played an amazing game, and I'll admit that we were lucky to get a win. Instead of being good sports some (not all UT fans) are trying their hardest to take shots at a Bama team that BEAT YOU. It's really quite sad. Anyways, some of you need to grow up. I hope yall go up to South Bend and crush ND. Your defense is much better than any ND has seen all season, so if Sanders can just get your offense to play one good ball game yall can win. ND's defense isn't very good so I think UT could pull it off. I hope yall do for the SEC's sake. Good luck the rest of the way.

Get a clue dude! The only bashing I seen of any Bama fans is the inbred brother of yours, who wants to show his a$$. If you think we have to sit back and take it, think again.

Congrats on the win, but i gotta ask u one question have u ever seen a team shoot themselves in the foot like we did. Without Prothro do u think u can beat LSU and Auburn. Good Luck on the rest of the season and dont be surprised if u might meet Florida again in the SEC championship game if u take care of business and Florida beats Georgia and hopes somebody else beats um

My comments on your 6 points, stemmed from a Topic/post by another of your kind. Your team beat the HELL out of ours 6-3? Not from being a sore loser, or put Bama down as you insinuate.

So before calling out members here of our own, be mindful that there are also those who post under the Bama Banner, and in very poor taste. I would (future reference) read the entire topic, you may find reasoning in the comments.

Would Tennessee be happier if we had beaten Tennesse 31-3? Would that have made this loss better? I guess my real question is this... what difference does it make if you lose by 1 or 100? Do you think Auburn is happy they scored more than 6 and lost by 3? How about Arkansas? I wonder if Iowa was excited they scored all those points, but lost by 3?

Yes it was a low scoring game. Even though both teams have a low scoring offense, I think this game was more the excellent play of both defenses. At least an SEC game requires 4 quarters to win and not 1 like most conferences.

yea everyone is bein a bunch of little b***** if we would have won the game 6-3 there would have been a couple Tenn fans on Bama boards talking s*** , just like there's a couple Bama fans on here talking s***. They won, regardless if we fumbled, regardless if DJ Hall pushed off on the big catch, they won. If our offense wasn't behind Southern Methodist in production the game wouldnt have been determined by that one play. The truth is we don't have enough mental toughness to win a game like this and being 106th in the nation in penalties is a direct reflection on the coaching staff believe it or not. Personally I think we played well enough to win and this game, and it was just a microcosm of the way we have played all season. I just hope that we can get some new people on the coaching staff because we have a chance to have a good team next year, congrats on the win Bama I'll see yall next year for some revenge :thefinger:

Clearly the tone of many on this board is due to the missed opportunities as much as the loss.

Seems that the reaction of Bama fans was very similar last year no?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard how Bama dominated the game last year, how if Brodie had played, etc. etc.

Nature of the beast (a close loss with missed opportunities).

BB why can't you guys let us have a weekend to grieve and digest our loss within our own Volunteer Family. Many of have been Vol fans for decades and still bear the scars of as many as 11 losses to the Tide in a row. Yesterday your team seized the day and earned the victory. Who knows what next year will bring. Hopefully the hatred between our fine universities will lessen. Bytheway because of the BCS strength of schedule you guys should pull for us the rest of the year!! :hi:

I don't post much. For those of you who do not remember, I watch the majority of all the games with friends. Two Razorback fans, one Alabama fan, and one other Vol like myself. I don't hate the University of Alabama. I don't hate any school that we play (although I must admit that that is hard for me to say that and mean it about Pukeonn). It is hard to lose a game to a team that beats you but you can live with that. Losing because you beat yourself ...HURTS. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
