What about Sapp? What are his chances?

Someone obviously must have gave him a somewhat favorable draft grade for him to leave early....unless he is just a bone head.

This is one youngster who is NOT a "bone head." He has consistently been about academics since his high schools days. Unless you've forgotten, his mother graduated from Vandy and is presently the AD at TSU. He's a class act from a class family.

No, I'm just curious as to why he would leave early and not be good enough to get an invite to the combine. Maybe he just missed the cut even though his draft grade was supposedly higher.

Seemed like a good kid too.

He was upset with Pruitt and iirc, he wanted to transfer. But he would have to sit a year. I think he's just shooting his shot.

Do DEs really ever get to shine in a 3-4 defense? Seems like all the glory goes to the OLB edge rushers.

Theres that one guy in Houston thats pretty productive in that spot.

I think a football genius thought his future was better suited at TE once upon a time.

You know the more I think about it, Alexis Johnson maybe the most draftable guy for the Vols this year. He was pretty darn good.
