Also turnovers. Doubt we would recover 6 fumbles and have 2 INT erased again.

A few things to note about Cincy's game against AP >>>>

(Saw the game/drive chart on Rockytoptalk.com)

- AP turned it over FIVE times (3 fumbles, 2 INTs)
- 7 of Cincy's TD drives started on AP's side of the field
- Of those 7 drives, 3 (COUNT EM, 3) started INSIDE the 35..

I'm not saying Cincy doesn't have a really good offense - because i think they do - i'm just saying that AP gave them some great field position throughout the game. Give them credit, though, they took advantage of it..

I think the biggest key in this game will be field position. Our kick coverages and kickoff/punting could be a huge factor in the outcome..

Exactly. Secure the ball, win the ST battle, and we win by two TDs.

The guy pulls numbers out of his a$$ and calls it a prediction.. not saying we win easy but he obviously has not even looked at either team or he would have a prediction on score more towards high 30's to 40's.. two offensive teams with questions of defense = shootout

Until we prove ourselves on the field, these so called ''Experts'' will continue to pick against us. This wont be a game we run away with ... But if we do, expect more ''Experts'' to side with our Vols. That being said, I cant wait till Saturday...

ESPN's prediction: UT - 27 Montana - 21

Just goes to show you the lack of respect and the lack of research into their hack journalism. At Neyland, Vols win...

Need I remind you >>>>

- UT fumbled 6 times (the ball won't always bounce right back to the carrier every time)
- Bray had INTs wiped out via pass interference penalties
- UT gave up a Safety to an FCS D-line

Other than the timing between Bray and his top WRs, the offense looked woeful.

We won't be so lucky against a team with the athletes/coaching to capitalize on such mistakes.

Incredibly dumb to point this out.

Neither would have been picks sans the pass interference penalties.

i watched the Cincy replay, and they're a good team ... it will be a very close game.

Only reason we're favored is because it's a home game, imo

A good team? I think I could play with Austin peay. I watched there game and Austin peay drove the ball on them all game. We will score 50+ on them.

Not to painted as a Negavol, but I think Cincy wins by 7. If UT wins, It will be VERY close.

Cool. I'm sure I'll forget but if you remember please bump this thread since you wanted to bet. I'll be surprised if UT doesn't win by at least 3 TD's and I think it will be more like ~50-17, Vols win big.

you mean he wrote part of an article that didn't say "the dash says" "the dash predicts" the dash.... After seeing that about 6 times in the last piece of crap he wrote i don't bother reading anything he puts up

I had us at 70% likely to win this game before Montana.

After Montana, I revised to 60%. I think Vegas has basically put out the 4 - 6 point line, or 60% too.

We overlook Cincy at our peril. To the schooled eye, there were a lot of problems out there masked by YAC and FCS competition.

I think it is very possible to lose this game and unless we improve a lot during the season even the Kentucky game. Lets face it we are nowhere near what we once were, and its sad to me.

did you watch UK play?

Forde is a complete goof. That being said, the team would be unwise to overlook the bearcats.

Austin Peay has only had 2 winning seasons since 2002 and 18 in 74 years of football. UC had a great game, no doubt. Anytime you score 70+ points an anyone its going to give your team some momentum. UC is in just about the same position we are in. Brian Kelley left the team as HC. So they have a new head coach, Butch Jones, with something to prove.

Tennessee-Martin beat Austin Peay in 2010 28-10. We played UT-Martin as well in 2010 and beat them 50-0.

Back to last weeks game.
Carllaros went 12/19 134 yards, 7.1avg with 4TDs.
Pead went 7/87 12.4 avg and 2tds.

Total Offensive yards 561 174 passing and 387 rushing; while allowing 277 from Austin Peay 150 passing and 127 rushing.

This is craziness. UT 45- UC 24

I think we'll beat Kentucky worse than we did Montana.
