This thread is dedicated to air your grievances. Describe your sh1ttiest moments as a UT fan from 2000 on. Times are a changing fellers. Get it out of your system now.

My top two happened in the same season taking into account that one of my favorite moments happened that same season (01) *Travis Stephens ran like a dog freed from the pound in the swamp and made the crowd go ape sh1t on themselves.

Wait I do have one. Dooley not recruiting ANY OL in 2012. We would be sitting pretty if he did. FU Dooley.

Actually at the time, the Dooley hire didn't appear to be a disaster. Son of a "legend" (debatable), still hurting from Kiffin kicking us in the nads, horrible timing to hire a coach, he had a very good introductory presser, the recruiting class was salvaged to a degree. Hind sight is 20/20, too bad Kippy Brown wasn't named the interim coach for 2010.

We have suffered immensely the past 15 years, but especially the past 8 or so years.

Coincidentally, my "hardcore" fandom didn't begin until the 2007 season, so I got to enjoy obsessively following the Vols (as opposed to casually) for precisely one year before the suckage began.

I came to Knoxville to start school in the fall of 2008. I have known almost nothing but heartache and misery (as it pertains to football and our beloved Vols) literally the entire time I've lived in Knoxville. I was living in the blue house on Clinch and Agee when Kiffen split for USC in the middle of the night, and was there in the midst of the infamous "riot" demanding blood with my fellow students. I'll never forget it or losing to Vandy and Kentucky for the first time since I'd been alive. My roommates were the only ones put in handcuffs during the whole ordeal, although they never received a ticket or suffered any long term consequences aside from the hellacious conditioning we were subjected to after our coach saw one of his players in handcuffs on ESPN. If anything, suffering through the hard times as a student just makes me appreciate CBJ and what he's done for the program and the culture in Knoxville that much more. They say it's always darkest before the dawn, and I whole heartedly believe the sun is starting to peak over the horizon. It's going to be a heck of a ride this year, let's enjoy it.
