Passely must be in a funk right now. The guy plays hard but doesn't make good decisions.....that will get better with time and practice:crossfingers:

he isnt improving though, hes getting worse.
That's what I was thinking. I think I remember hearing when he commited that he was gonna be one of the top HS players his senior year and now he is only 3* on Rivals.

If you assume that next year's starting five is already locked up (Ramar, JaJuan, Lofton, Chism, Crews), I would assume that Tabb and Passley will be in a serious dogfight for that "super sub" role formerly held by JaJuan during the pre-season next year. As it stands now, I think Tabb has a much higher ceiling, especially if he works on his shot.

If Pearl wanted Passley gone then he would have kicked him off during the mary-jane scandal last fall but he wanted to keep him around, he must see something in him.

Kessling reminded me of it last night, Passley's season changed when he got the technical. I think it was in the NIT.

That is the kind of comment that robs Blubber Bob of what little credibility he might have. Passley is a stiff. Don't try to sell some ridiculous story about how one incident suddenly stripped him of the ability to contribute. That is yet another example of why UT needs to hire a legitimate play by play announcer to replace the clueless shill currently inhabiting that seat.

Passley is a great athlete who seems to be able to shoot the ball ok. The thing is, though, that he doesn't make good decisions on offense and looks lost. He's a pretty capable defensive player. He'll be a good sub, but I don't see him breaking any sort of starting rotation, or really getting more than 8-10 min a game unless he makes some drastic improvements on his offensive game.

Come on, I don't like Bob myself but you know that's not what either of us meant. Passley was at least trying. He was a guy who could give us a few minutes and score a bucket or two and grab a rebound. I am not sure he's hardly taken a shot since then.
