I was thinking today about how we seem to run the same types of plays over and over. I have been thrilled to finally see the draw play the last couple of weeks. But why in the world do we not throw to the TE. I mean I can see us not wanting to make it the focus of our offense but if we ever decided to I'll be he would be wide open. I realize that we may not have any "blue chip" TEs on the roster but I would be willing to bet that someone could catch the ball if they were wide open.

Another thing is I don't know why we don't use the playaction more to our advantage. I have noticed several of our oppenents and even the Colts today run the back beside the QB either to hand off for the run or fake handoff for the pass. The play by play guys sometimes can't even tell who has the ball. It would seem to me that the object of the game is to keep the defense guessing and that type of playaction seems to be very effective.

Any thoughts? :machinegun: :machinegun:

Unfortunately, one of the main tenants of running play action is that the opposing defense has to actually respect your running game.

I agree with a TE, I always thought they should use a package that uses Fleming a TE, Davs at FB, and Houston/Riggs at TB.

Interesting idea.

I am not sure how good of a blocker Davis is. I heard he did not play very well at FullBack. Maybe intentionally :naughty:
