partying at the MCB

Might want to start your partying before the game though. I got a buddy at the Colts v. Titans game now. Apparently 8 bucks per beer! Gotta love stadium prices!

On a side note I dream of the day I can enjoy a beer with a Smokey Dog at Neyland!

The last time I went to a Titans game was five years ago, and beer prices were $8 then, so that's not so bad. At least it comes in a hard plastic cup you can take home and reuse; I have about a dozen myself.

Waaahhhhh!!! $8 whole dollars!! OMG! They are 16oz so they're not that bad. And if you are going to whine about it, either don't go or sneak in a flask. If you can't afford $8, you probably shouldn't be going to the game anyway.

$8 a beer is high. Even for a 16 oz. when a 12 pack is $10..... Spending 8 wouldn't be bad, but when you drink say 10 beers thru the game it is ridiculous spending $80 for 10 beers my friend

My boss and I were talking and he went to his first game at Neyland back in the early 90's and he said they use to sell beer along the street walking to the stadium. He said you could buy big gulps and small gulps. I asked him was this on the strip he said no they parked up by frat row. Is this true? Have they ever sold beer inside neyland?

Not much more than a 12 pk...Would be equivalent to about 13-14 beers. Lets say the avg. person drinks at least a 6 pk. DURING the game. I on the other hand am not. I drink a good bit. Not falling over drunk, but a 12 pk alone does me good. Anyway even drinking 6 at LP is a bit high. I dunno how some look at things, but I dont like knowing Im getting ripped off. Even with that said if I was there for the bowl game I prob would spend too much on the beer. If ppl would stop buying prices would prob. drop, but I dont see it happening

From my understanding, UT has been dry since 1990; probably did used to sell beer inside Neyland

LOL I picked bad numbers. I know most ppl dont drink like me is all. 6 is just a tease. I mean 6 for a game is sad. Your either out of beer around the end of the first quarter, or baby sitting a hot beer, or just not a drinker. If a drink alone a 12 is fine, but when Im out, or with friends I couldn't tell you how many go down. It exceeds 12 though. I really like a pitcher of beer as my glass lol.
