Where's the best place to park? I live in east tn, so easy access to i40 is a necessity. The shorter the walk the better, my 8 y/o has difficulty walking long distances. I would like to find somewhere that's good to tailgate and easy in, easy out. Also if you know prices and how quickly they fill up. Thanks

Try state street garage downtown - one block past gay street. It's free on weekends . It's more of a walk than you may want. Use Uber to get to the campus. Probably "surge" pricing - but it may be less than paying parking in fort sanders. Also, I think they run some shuttles from Market Square to the campus. I always walk it, but I've seen some buses loading up there. Can someone else comment?

If you get there early enough, the Ronald McDonald house has some parking. I've never used it, but a buddy of mine from Memphis parks there every time. 17th and Clinch.

I usually just try to find a house where no one is at in the fort and start letting people park in their yard and charge 20 bucks a pop. Then with all the money I made, I drive down close to the stadium and park at premium prices.

Just reminded me of my old supervisor which at the time nearly 80. The old man would tell that to a lot of workers that was trying to BS about something. Lol I had a flashback.

I lived in a house in a fort the last time ESPN was in town for Gameday against Florida (2012 I think). I made about $140 just letting people park in front of my house on the street and in the yard. While double fisting beers. Smartest drunk thing I've ever done. But as to parking downtown, there is a shuttle (free unless something has changed) that picks up in front of Crowne Plaza on Summit Hill in downtown.

I was wondering the same thing since I haven't been to a game since '93, back when paying $20 to park was unheard of. :)

With a young kid... Park for free at Market Square and ride the trolley. No long walks. No parking fee.

Anyone know what I could reasonably expect to pay on the street to park in lot G-10 for the opener?

Nothing reasonable price about a G10 especially on top. I would like to tailgate their once and is my bucket list to tailgate but I seen prices from 1700-2000 mainly $2000 for season. I would not mind paying $300 for Florida game week if someone is trying to sell their's and that is still a stretch for me but only once for me. I would say opener probably $175-200.

I'd say 70-100$. G10T 150$.
