Parking/Tailgating

I was wondering, If you want to park and tailgate but do not have a pass where would be the best place to park and tailgate with a lot of people? Thanks for any info:)

If you want a decent spot you better be over there early, early Saturday morning. If not you can forget finding a good place to tailgate. Good Luck.

Find a Lot off the strip. There is a good one behind Walgreens or Rite Aid. I can never remember the name of the store. But it is across the street from Mcdonalds. Cost's $30.00 but you get a porta john. And believe me if you drink 6 or 8 beers and have to piss. That is the best $30.00 bucks you ever spent in your life. We usually get there around 10:00 or 11:00 for nite game. We get the smoker going with some Bar-B-Q and the beer on ice. There is always different groups with TVs so we get to keep up with the days games and party. It will be wild Saturday!! Flordia is the best game of the year tailgating wise. It is in September were the weather is usually still warm and its a night game so you get all day. The bad thing is there are always alot of Gator fans in Knoxville so it can get a little rowdy sometimes. But it is all in fun and i can get rowdy with the best.

Up around Hess Hall....you can also pay to park in the Baptist Student Union. Lot's of people tailgate around there.

That is a great lot, and we are always in the one beside that, behind AmSouth. We should try to at least get together for one drink since we're "tailgatin' neighbors"!

I tailgate at the Church at the corner of Cumberland and Henley street. Not a bad walk to the stadium, $25 to park and the place is packed. Great group of people around there.

Sweet Ga Vol,
We got chicken and ribs this week man. Will be in a Big a$$ ford F250 four door with orange UT tent cover tailgate. We are hard to miss. Just follow your nose. You will smell those ribs. I'll have a cold Bud waiting.

Thanks for all the info. I have only missed 3 UT/FL Home games since I was 5. Usually go with my family, but I decided to sit in the student section then got screwed. Im going and hopefully will get tickets there... Wish me luck
