If you all have downloaded the app to access digital games tickets, the digital parking passes should now be in your account via app. I accessed game day tickets and looked the other day and parking passes were added.
From the app, save them in a digital wallet. That way you can just open the wallet on game day and not have to rely on accessing the app near stadium, which for many people internet access doesn't work near stadium.
My carrier is Verizon, which is supposed to be the best and a sponsor of UT athletics and my Hi-Tech expensive ass phone doesn't get internet service around or in Neyland. Literally makes no sense.
I have only saved the tickets and parking pass to the first game from the app to digital wallet and will likely just do this for each game individually. I am not having trouble with the process yet, but I know this will be a MAJOR cluster, headache and issue for thousands of Vol fans. I hate the new process personally, not necessarily for myself, but for many others. Just think if your phone dies or malfunctions, because they do, you are screwed.
What do you do if people are sitting in your seats and your phone dies or malfunctions in stadium and you can't show your digital tickets to prove the seats are yours? We have had the same seats for many, many years and often folks are sitting in our seats. Mostly because they are lost and not familiar with the sections at Neyland, but some just sit wherever, don't care, and look at you as the bad person for claiming your assigned seats.
UT has to come up with another option for folks, especially those technologically disadvantaged. Whether disadvantaged because of age or resources, or technical difficulties with phone....
