So this was my second time ever going to a game and we got their around 3pm to try and get a good parking spot. Once we got near the stadium we drove around looking for a spot and you pretty much have to have a parking permit to get real close. So does anyone know how to get a permit or is it only for students and faculty? I ended up paying $40 and parking as close as possible about 10min walk to the stadium where the end of the vol walk is. So it wasn't terrible. Just looking for more info on parking is all. Thanks in advance.

I decided years ago to park at Farragut High School and take the shuttle to the stadium. Best decision I ever made. Less stressful and less walking.

You can park for free in state street garage in downtown and Market Garage. Walk is about 20 mins. Easy walk. Or ride the trolley for 5 bucks each.
