Parking Break Down

Can anyone please break down the parking areas for me. Like if you look at the map provided by utsports.com they have orange sections meaning thats designated parking spots can anyone tell me which spots are just for parking passes and which are just pay to park. And where is the best pay to park tailgating spot fairly close to the stadium Thanks

and is the G 10 garage pay parking and doesnt require a pass

I always park on the strip (Cumberland Ave). You got so much stuff to do, plenty of people walking around, and the stadium aint a far walk. I think its a good place, I usually park at Krystals, like 20-25 bucks but any lot is that much.

do u think they'll be broadcasting the game from the knox county jail if i try that

Nah, if you are asking this question then you have'nt been b4...or very often. That, coupled with the tailgating question, makes me second the strip suggestion. If you turn by the Smokey Mnt mkt and go up the hill (opposite side of the strip from the stadium), you'll get the full flavor of the Knoxville gameday experience as you head over to the stadium. I'd highly suggest getting there early and heading on over to the VolWalk and the Pride of the Southland Band coming through campus

Absolutely! That's just one of the perks of going downtown with a free fare.

Oh, and BTW, the best free spots are passed from generation to generation and gaurded like a Masonic secret. LOL
