Do you guys have any video from the freshman practice yesterday afternoon? Not sure if yall put out videos like LSU does. I'd like to see how Devante is doing.
I didn't work the entire second session, but here's what I did see:
During individual drills, Bourque was lights out. His footwork, agility, and the way he can get into a higher gear are extremely impressive. He's freaky with his cuts.
Phillips is extremely quick off the ball. It's like he has an instinct where he just "knows" the snap count.
Mmkay:
DAY 2:
Vols continued practice in helmets today.
Tyler Bray once again showed that he is ready to command the team. During full team he was making audibles and changing the play on the ball.
We started implementing a little bit of a different offensive scheme than we're used to seeing at Tennessee today. That's all I'll comment on that.
Perhaps one of the most surprising parts of first session today was the fact that the competition on the field was at high level. The O-Line and the D-Line were trash talking, the 7-on-7s were extremely tough. Everybody was out there to prove something.
Devrin Young had an excellent practice.
Other notables that stood out to me:
Marlin Lane
Justin Hunter
AJ Johnson
Byron Moore
Jay Graham (Seriously, he was cutting great today)
I'll actually be in second session tonight, so I"ll be able to give you a little more on the new guys.

Second Session Notes:
I was both excited and awe struck by CP. Its like he's been on this team for three years. He knows exactly what he's doing on the field and he could possibly be the best receiver we have.
McCullers is a monstrosity of a human being. He's loud, and energetic. He also about laid me flat today.
Watson had a great practice today, and Bourque was top knotch today as well.
Surprise newbie so far? Mt McCullers. Fast, smart, mean. Damn.
