Palardy..

If you were not at the game you would not have known how cold and hard the wind was blowing - which affected the kicking game. Forget the style points - he made all of his kicks and they did not get any long returns on kick-offs. Palardy may never get back to where he was in HS due to the injury he suffered last year. Just like Lincoln never recovered. Now do you understand why CDD recruited a kicker?

I have heard that kickers can get about 8 to 10 more yards out of the nike ball, and we use addidas, now I don't know if Palardy used nike in high school or not, but that could be some of the problem, on an upside to that quarterbacks prefer the addidas ball for better grip. I don't have a link to it or anything ,but it was a former UT kicker that done a study on the two balls.
I hope that is what it is and he can overcome it cause if not we may want to save a scholly for a kicker in this class....

the Buffalo kicker did not have any issues. That is my biggest problem. Watch other teams like LSU and they have no kicking problems. Where is Joey Chapman when you need him? GBO!!!

You know, I can't honestly say I know much about how the kicking game works. In terms of the techniques and all that jazz.

But how can you go from having the most powerful leg coming out of highschool to having trouble getting the PATs over the cross bar at times? Like wtf? Did he have an accident, had to get his leg amputated and is now kicking with a prosthetic leg? Or what?

Palardy is going to cost us a big game or two. Lincoln part two. Maybe Bullock will be able to do better next year and take the job from him...I hope.

Don't know Palardy's situation. But I do know that there's way more sex in college.

Breaking news!!! Alabama's kicker just kicked the opening kickoff out of bounds. Alabama kickers never do this!!!

Fwiw, in his senior season at Aquinas, he kicked 2 field goals and about 87 extra points (seriously). Kicking field goals in college is probably a slight change for him.

We should have open tryouts for illegals. They all played soccer in their native country so one of them has to be able to kick.

Winning is just not enough. Do you not realize our kicker didn't kick the ball high enough over the crossbar? Sure he was a perfect 2/2 on fg's and 5/5 xp's but this has got to stop.

Ask Lincoln and the rest of th
e guys on the '09 team who battled for 60 minutes to win at Alabama if it matters.

We have had a lot of head space and timing in our kicking game of late.....past 6 or 7 years...maybe longer....We once had a punter that had "Crowd and Performance Anxiety"
