You know, I can't honestly say I know much about how the kicking game works. In terms of the techniques and all that jazz.

But how can you go from having the most powerful leg coming out of highschool to having trouble getting the PATs over the cross bar at times? Like wtf? Did he have an accident, had to get his leg amputated and is now kicking with a prosthetic leg? Or what?

I'm not sure, but is the ball shaped slightly differently in college than in high school?

He was on TV explaining why he missedthe FG at the Swamp. I would rather he be spending his time and effort on getting better. excuses are for losers- when was the last time you heard excuses from a Bama player? it never happens.

I think Lincoln is still here just trying to wear out his left leg now.

Maybe the ball was over inflated in high school?

Fwiw, in his senior season at Aquinas, he kicked 2 field goals and about 87 extra points (seriously). Kicking field goals in college is probably a slight change for him.

Oh good. I'm glad you made a new thread about this. Keeping everything in the same place was getting to easy.

Give me an F-ing break. I am so sick of hearing how Alabama "never does this" or Saban "never does that". An Alabama player never makes an excuse? I guess you didn't hear all the excuses Alabama players were making last year after blowing their huge first half lead to Auburn.

What's sad about Palardy is it is going to change what UT does on offense. Instead of trying to kick a 40+ yd FG in the future, UT will probably go for it on 4th down and try convert.

If our conversion success is as good as it is on 3rd down, let's do it!

Thats CRAP, there is only a "SLIGHT" difference between HS and College footballs. The big difference is goin from College to NFL. Take a look at JEFF HALL, he was a good high school kicker, then in college was a GREAT KICKER. Its in his head, hes more worried about what he looks like then actually producing on the field. He came in with all this HYPE, being the #1 kicker in HS, going to a BIG HS, and hes no longer the Big Fish in a little pond. Seeing him on the sidelines making sure his hair is straight and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

Yeah, when we're playing LSU and Alabama, and those field goals actually matter, the guy is gonna choke. And if Buffalo had any sense at all, they'd have 2 blocked PATs today. He's Lincoln all over again, without the 1 good year, it seems.
