Palardy STILL all Vol

It basically just talked about how Lane and Monte sat down with him in his home and answered all of his questions (as well as those of his parents). He said his parents ran out of questions before Lane ran out of answers. He is 100% committed to Tennessee.

Hey, I'm friends with him on FB and I'm pretty certain he's not going anywhere by his status. He was really excited that Kiffin came over.

If Lane Kiffin, Monte Kiffin, and Ed Orgeron were sitting in your living room, how could you possibly say no????

I suspect Gran is the sort of guy who loves to prove himself, and he'll certainly get that opportunity in Tallahassee competing with Florida for local recruits.

Best of luck to him... and I'm sure Palardy will be walking into a situation with a top notch special teams coach come the first day of practice.

The way I see it, at least I get straight answers. There's a difference between being supportive and being pushy. Representing the Vols in a positive way, no doubt. I checked in with Corey Miller over the weekend to see how his mom is doing. He said she's doing much better now. It was good to hear that because he almost had to reschedule his official visit.

We need this kid in the worst way. It will be good to see a kickoff deep in the endzone. That is the first way to stop some of the great kick returners we face.

I know I would love having strangers ask me about my family on facebook.

When asked how Gran’s departure would affect his decision, Palardy was quick to respond.

“No not at all,” Palardy said. “I committed to the University of Tennessee, not a certain position coach. A lot of assistants come and go, that’s just part of the business.”

“It was great to get a chance to talk to Coach Kiffin,” Palardy said. “The head coach being there during my stay at Tennessee is important. I chose a school and a head coach. I like the direction that Coach Kiffin has this program going, that’s what is important to me. He told me he plans on staying at UT for a long time.”

No.... Unless you were a friend of the family BEFORE he (they) became potential Tennessee recruits, insinuating yourself into their lives via the internet is, well.... creepy at best. Please don't try to come back with the "Well they had to accept my friend request" nonsense.... A ton of FB junkies will accept anyone who offers, including, apparently, people like you who these folks don't know from Adam's housecat simply to get their "friend" totals up...

Gran may be able to get future recruits but it's kind of hard to pitch staying in South Florida in the same living room you've been pitching reasons to leave South Florida. I'm sure it happens but it's really a sneaky move.
