Because our backup sucks obviously. Brodus might could hit a short FG but IDK that we have a punting option.

I've been thinking the same thing. All of his kick-offs were to about the 10 yard line. His first FG attempt barely made it there and was wide left from 32. 43 yards is his longest punt and that was with the roll I believe. I think that is why Butch went with the fake FG. Palardy had no leg tonight to make it from 40.

It has more to do with it being 18 degrees and the ball being hard as a rock. Neither kicker is hitting it well.
