we cant oraganize a tweet, but freak has said the painting of the rock is ok, so with that in mind...


HUGE recruiting weekend coming up for Cuonzo Martin and the Tennessee basketball program, arguably the biggest recruiting weekend in his tenure.

Official Visitors will be Robert Hubbs & Jonathan Williams lll, also very possible that we could get an unofficial from 2014 Jaquel Richmond. These are all program changing type players, a la tobias & jarnell.

This will be Hubbs first official visit, and at this point, his only scheduled visit, so lets make an impression...for Jw3 he has visited georgetown and just visited mizzou for the uga game, so lets show him an atmosphere he'll never forget.

not sure who usually paints the rock, but it absolutely needs to get painted up for Hubbs & Jw3, these 2 would be huge gets. also, not going to organize anything for twitter, but if you want to follow these guys on your own, or show them love heres their twitter handles...

Speaking of basketball, I could not find a single word about Tennessee's men's basketball in the KNS today. Did I miss it or do they just don't care???

We need 2 rocks because the rockis getting painted for Derrick Henry for the tenn vs florida game next weekend ? We need a basketball and a football rock side by side

Atmosphere is going to be insane.

College game day is coming to Knoxville, this will be a huge weekend for all things Tennessee.

Paint Henry in the middle in a uni doing his thing and our two nice basketball recruits pulling up jumpers or dunking outside of him. See, was that so hard?

And if a 5* recruit was coming for a basketball game and we had basketball players coming in for a basketball game in January, you'd say "This is a football school. Football comes first."

It's not everyday UT basketball gets two top 40 players on campus at the same time that's not committed.

Never saw anything about Looney on UtSports site.
Have a feeling they'll come back down town to reality post Sep. 15.

UT can't say anything about recruits, so it wouldn't be published on their site.

The newspaper is not for diehards like us.....the last recruiting article period was football commitment on August 10. They usually do one basketball article a week when not much is going on like right now and usually it's a corny one such as the last one about martins texting habits. It is absolutely no slight against the basketball program.

Oh I know they dont do ish, I think that was the point.

IMO there's enough BS in te sports section that nobody reads that there's plenty of room for a few paragraphs with a recruiting update.

So one of the mods moved the paint the rock thread in the fb forum to the pub...they were discussing the design.

Not sure why it was moved, anyone know, or does this mean it's a no go?
