This OP has always been classy. Glad to see it again! It all boiled down to who wanted to be there. I don't think Iowa is truly as bad as what they showed today. Negativity is almost impossible to overcome. We had it with Dooley, I hope this is just a passing thing for the Hawkeyes with your coach. But, TN looked simply fantastic today. Great springboard for the future!

I'm envious of your recruiting. Wish we could land more players like that. We just get a few here and there and a lot less than 10 years ago.

You Iowa guys are classy.. I'm a real big, big ten hater, hate Ohio state, penn state, and everyone else but you guys, I will root for you in the big ten. Wish you all nothing but success. .GO IOWA..oh yeah, I was a penn state game years ago when you guys played them, Christianson was your qb then..I was cheering like hell for you guys.. lol. Should of seen the looks I got..

A bit off topic but I think Beathard should be your QB..kind like Dobbs has been considered and reconsidered here for UT fans. Which I believe there is a clear cut picture of who should lead the team torwards the future.

I agree and most of the fanbase does as well. Unfortunately, the coach hasn't for the entire season. Both QB's got police escorts from the locker room and were not allowed to speak with media.

Everyone expects Beathard to transfer and I don't blame him.

Yup, classy fans, thanks a bunch.... I have to ask, did anyone else get annoyed watching Ferentz chomp on whatever it was he was chomping on.. I wanted to say gum but I have never seen anyone chew gum like that.

That's what he does. all game every game. Somebody on HawkeyeNation.com has an avatar of an old time bubblegum machine with a headset on. Pretty funny.

The Iowa fans we saw today were all nice and respectful. We don't believe in rubbing it in to our opponents. I hope they had a nice visit in sunny Florida and I hope Iowa makes a bowl in 2015 season.

Just wanted to throw it out there and say I always rooted for you iowa anytime yall played against other B1G teams ever since i was a little one. Not sure why I did i guess its cuz i hated everyone else in yalls conference and i loved watching yall beat the supposed top schools in the B1G. Very classy fans and hope all goes well for yall next year and so on.

I've known a few Iowa fans for quite some time. I still enjoy pheasant hunting there and the occasional deer hunt when I'm drawn for a license. I hope you guys beat the breaks off of the big 10 for years to come.

Also, just wanted to add. You guys are going to do great. I was watching some youtube videos of your coach talking to media. Just listening to him makes anyone pumped up to play for him. I love those type of coaches who are passionate and just got a fire lit under them. I wish we had that, but we have a fat cat collecting paychecks. Here is a little food for thought. In Coach Ferentz contract he got 100k bonus today for making it to a bowl. Also, in Feburary he gets 525k for longevity bonus. How about that, eh? Jesus I need a drink after writing that last part. lol. Anyways, take it easy fellas and gals.
