I've heard all week on talk radio down here in crapabama about Auburn players Off and Def packing it in for the season.

Looks to me like the Tenn players have done that as well.

I'm proud of myself though. I watched a whole quarter of the "game" before turning the channel to watch a real game.

The players looked like they didn't want to be there, even Spurrier looked embarsassed for us.

It was sad. I'm afraid if they don't do something soon, the whole team is going to call it a season and we may not even get a crappy bowl.

A bowl game? Why in the world would you want to have to see anymore of this than what we have already had to witness?

I don't want to play in a bowl this year, I'm tired of getting embarrassed on National Television

Here's what Hamilton said about 'going bowling.' (from the 11-2-08 edition of the Chattanooga Times Free Press):

Hamilton said the school would "absolutely" accept a bid.

"That's not even an issue," he said. "We would never choose to do anything but represent our conference if given that opportunity."

It's people like this that just frost me. Nothing but totally clueless what goes on out in the real Vol World.He and the others need to get out of that ivory tower and mingle with real Vol faithful.

The real Vol faithful would want nothing more than to earn a bowl bid, that would mean 3 wins in a row. I know as well as anyone that a lower tier bowl is a disappointment, and I haven't lowered my standards, but at this point, 6-6 is the best we can do. So given the fact that 6-6 is the best we can do, then that's what I, and the rest of the REAL Vol faithful, will hope for. Any bowl game means more practice and a paycheck for the program.

The Volnation always travels well and represents, but who wants to fly to Boise to see the blue turf? Carolina should be ashamed they didn't put up 50 on us. (That would have been very Spurrieresqe)

How do we lure the coach away from Texas Tech??? His offense would definately excite the Vol faithful.:p
