How many Pac 10 Champs do you have? That's what I thought. I can go ahead and say none of your teams do since your league does not have the gonads to go ahead and do a Pac 10 Championship like all of the other leagues do except for the Big Lazy 10 as well.

The NCAA has a rule in place regarding this. A conference must have 12 or more teams to have a conference championship game.

Of course the Pac 10 has not tried to expand to allow them to have a Championship game under the NCAA rule. They will awlays remain a one hit wonder (USC) conference.

They are talking about doing it after 2012. They are leaving too much money on the table not having a Conference Championship game.

(the duck beat me)

At least you're willing to admit that the CCG is nothing more than a $$$ game and nothing else.

Personally I hope that the P10 sticks with the round robin format.

I like CCG because it eliminates two and 3 way ties with 14 different tiebreakers to get a winner.

I do like the round robin format if there is no championship game.

The CCG is a money grab too.

I think in a truly competitive conference it is more difficult to win it round robin. However, if we want a more "true" national champion then all of the BCS conferences should have 12 teams and a championship game.

It is the next logical step in the progression toward a playoff system too.

What else would it be. Why do you think the NFL is talking about going to 18 games. It is all about the $$$.

Don't shoot the messenger, however, I've been told, that it's the only way to determine a conference champion. I said, "no way...who would say something like that?"

Nope. It is the $$$. Sometimes the best team in the Conference loses and screws their chance to play for the NC. Cash is King.

Every time I go to Autzen for a game, I get ready to pound my head in out of frustration of talking to a high percentage of people who have no ability to judge or sometimes even understand the game of football. Most of these people also have no connection whatsoever to the University. Mainly just a lot of wanna-be cowboys who decided those gigantic, awful gaudy O's look good on their lifted pickups with $5,000 of suspension mods and not an ounce of dirt to be found anywhere.

Fans around Reser, though there are far fewer on game day, tend to have much more reasonable and rational thoughts on the game. Nearly all of these people are students or alums, and their families.

Droski can probably chime in on this. Having a long futility-stricken program like OSU often makes for a much more level-headed and rational fanbase, at least in this instance. Wish the same were true for Vanderbilt or Kentucky.

There's my smack.

I'm sorry to say this, but Boise State's talent level is actually quite a bit higher than Tennessee's.

No its not. Boise never has a recruit over 3 stars, where tn does so on a regular basis. Besides whats your excuse gonna be when Wilcox beats the quacks again with tennessee's so called less talent? :birgits_giggle:

:banghead2:

Just because a dumbass recruiting service says they don't have "stars" doesn't mean that they aren't talented.

true but our 4 and 5 star recruits are bound to be better talent wise, therefore you are wrong saying they have MORE talent then we do. A better coaching staff over the past 5 yrs yeah, but even we took their d coordinator. Vols 20 Ducks 13 in 2010.

If you really think we're going to score 13 points, please remove your head from your ass.
