Pumpers gonna pump?

It's been my experience that pumpers are quicker to change their stance when things go south than a nega is to give credit when/where it's due.

Our human nature is to look for the potential traps and pitfalls rather than the good. So, see, it's not entirely your fault. You're fighting against the laws of the human psyche. :)

You talking about JaCoby Stevens? He's already landed with LSU. I can't think of any other Stevens right now.

Yes, he's the one. I believe if we take care of business in Tampa, he will follow Wade here. Les would have to lose a few more games though.

Les Miles will not be at LSU next year he will be living it up on the beach. Even if that does change Stevens decision there is no way he comes here. Stevens just has almost no interest in UT.

Drew Richmond will never be a Vol. oops.

Stevens to UT is so far off. He's never been interested. You better hope Les doesn't get canned, because he would likely go to Bama or UGA

Bad example because the initial interest in Tennessee was always there for Richmond. When he originally picked Ole Mess, Tennessee was right in the thick of things. JaCoby picked LSU (twice now in fact) and Tennessee was, at best, a very distsnt 4th for him. He just doesn't have much interest. Not saying it's impossible, but it's not like the Richmond case at all.

Moral of the story is nobody ever knows whats going to happen. Unless he is an EE, there is always a chance to flip someone. Now Butch and the staff may have given up on him, I really dont know. But if they havent, then there is always a chance. They never stopped recruiting Richmond, so the cases are not that far off from one another.

The two cases are not real similar for the one main reason I already listed in my earlier post. You can either accept that fact, or not.

The rest I agree with, and your overall point has merit. Nothing is final until the ink is dry. He does have to show a hint of interest in us first, but if that happens, I don't count Butch out for anyone.

Per Hubbs

Speaking of Florida visitors, we continue to hear there should be a nice contingent of unofficial visitors in for that game. As of now, if there are any official visitors it will be a small number. As we noted, Smith will be on campus and five-star defensive back Lamont Wade is scheduled to be back as well.

It will be important for Wade to bring his parents to one of his next two visits to Tennessee, if not both. Right now, Penn State feels good about where they are with Wade, but the Vols have been closing some ground. Pitt is still in the mix as well.
