Owned?!

One of my friends is a UGA fan. Came up for the game this year. When we got back to birmingham, seeing as to how all of his roommates were vols fans, his whole door was painted orange with a white power t in the middle and the score underneath it. Talk about owned...

I used to date a girl that was a big Bama fan (of course here in Southern Middle Tennessee there are tons of those). Those are the hardest to change, she wouldn't budge.

Yeah, you're pretty much againt two swords on this one, she is a woman and a bama fan. Not exactly the top of the intellect totem pole...

Part of that combo is pretty epic at making sandwiches, though!

I told my last girlfriend who is from Georgia and a dawg fan that I could not marry anyone who was not a Tennessee fan. I came home from work one weekend, and she had a Power T belly ring. I proposed not long after that and it was her idea to play Rocky Top after they pronounced us husband and wife. We were married in Gatlinburg and her whole family is from Georgia and Alabama, and are obviously not Big Orange supporters. We watched the video of the ceremony after we got back from the mountains and the expressions were priceless. Now two of my three brothers in law are ALL VOL!!
Keep it up my brother she will budge!

Honestly, though. What's more intriguing? A girl who doesn't care that much, and just goes along with it because you like it? Or is it the girl who loves sports so much that she isn't swayed just because her boyfriend likes a different team?

You take a girl who goes along with it just for her man and turn her into a rabid sports fan who loves Tennessee Football/Basketball/Sports more than life itself.
You make her wear orange 24/7 - except of course when she is in the kitchen making you a sandwich, in which case, she should be wearing nothing but a smile on her face!

Haha, I'm just kidding. My better half is actually a wonderful, intelligient woman who is extremely bright. She also is a converted Vol who now agrees with the #1 rule regarding weddings, "You don't have them in the fall!" I swear, a tear dropped when I heard her say that to a group of her friends.

What's her sandwich specialty????

Two. I can deal with them liking another team, as long as they know what they are talking about.

That being said, if mine came in the house with any sort of UF, Bama, or UGA crap on I would tell her to take the garbage off. She would have to go out of conference.
