Morning VN family. My oldest son got confirmation last night that he’s been hired by the IMPD (Indianapolis Police)! It’s been his dream to follow my footsteps. He’ll have his work cut out for him as Indy these days are about as bad as Chicago. Proud of him.

God bless him. I wouldn’t want to be an officer in todays society.

It was what I wanted to do after the Army for a good while.

Yay for being a (previous) Fed! It gave me a birthday weekend.

We gave up trying to remember dates, so Hubs’s burfday is Martin Luther King Day weekend, anniversary is Labor Day weekend, and my burfday is Slaughter Original Americans Day weekend.
