Just my thoughts and opinion of course but i think Texas and LSU are overrated coming into the season and A&M and Tennessee are underrated. People are definitely sleeping on us and have slid us back to the pack after Nico leaving. I think we will definitely compete for a playoff spot again i got the Vols at 10-2 or 9-3 this season. Our defense will be as good or close to it as last season. Yea the big question is the QB but i have faith that we won’t miss Nico that much. I’ve seen some preseason publications and gurus picking us as low as 12th in the SEC this season that’s crazy to me no way do we finish that low. The floor is 8-4 at the very worst. Go Vols!!!

Our offense was not exactly setting records last year. If our defense is as good as last year and our coaches coach at the same level, I do t see a reason we should have any less of a season as last year. Thats a big if but if we are comfortable saying the defense special teams and coaching are as good, then I don’t see a reason to expect less. Are we expecting 14pts a game? Not me, I think cjh will always average 21 or more no matter.

Brian Kelley is 29-11 at LSU.
72% winning percentage.

That’s a secure winning percentage if you’re South Carolina or Arkansas. But LSU has
Won 3 National Championships since we won our last in 1998. They’re expectations are to compete and Brian Kelley hasn’t done that with them despite talent being there.

Brian Kelly is a football coach. “Brian Kelley” is a member of Florida Georgia Line. Were you listening to them recently? 😂

54% of this roster is comprised of 4 and 5 star players, hasn’t been that high since the 90’s. Unfortunately UGA and Horns are at about 80%. We could make a playoff run, but not optimistic on winning SEC

I always forget about that "split" Natty in 2003 😂

In their last 2 openers the 🐅 have stumbled and wouldn't be surprised to see Clemson get the W in this opener. Whether the 🐊 are back might be determined if they leave with the W over 🐅. Can't see 🐅 with Ws @ Ole Miss and Bubba. 8-9 Ws ceiling.

Where Arch and Texas are as a team may not be settled at OSU but if 🐊 get that W at LSU then that TX game becomes very important. I would be OK with a 🐊 W over TX. TX ceiling Is probably 10 Ws.

My 8 ball is "yet to be determined" on the Vols and Bubba. Georgia D takes another step back but still better than TX and Bubba.

Vanderbilt. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Vandy for the first time in my life is Overrated.
Their schedule is hellish lol (by their standards, anyway). Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Texas, and Bama all on the road, and a lot of people seem to have forgotten they lost to Georgia State last season. Not to mention, teams figured Pavia out by the end of the season. I don’t understand how they’re getting so much hype.

I’m confident in my prediction that they miss a bowl.

I am afraid that Texas is probably ranked where they should be. They have tons of talent and maybe the best QB in the SEC. I agree that LSU overrated and Tennessee is underrated. In Tennessee"s case, I believe we are more talented then we have been in years and that the team seems to be in the best physical condition I have seen in a number of years. I look forward to the regular and post season play with great confidence.

SC and LSU are overrated imo. SC lost a lot and I don’t trust BK as a coach. I think Bama, FL, Texas, and UGA will be the best teams this year although FL’s schedule is brutal so their record might not reflect that.

The mid teams will be us, A&M, OK, OM, LSU and SC.

Vandy will be scrappy but still Vandy and Mizzou will benefit from their weak azz schedule.

i agree with South Carolina being overrated as well. Brian Kelly has lost every season opener since he has been at LSU and could easily lose his 4th straight against Clemson at their place. I don’t trust BK and i think Nuessemeir is good but not on the level of Burrow or Jayden Daniels and if you get pressure on him he will get flustered pretty easily and make mistakes. If LSU loses to Clemson and Florida in September the heat will be dialing up on Kelly.

They have talent, but I just don’t see it. I think they lose their opener against Clemson and wouldn’t be shocked if FL gets them and they lose to A&M again. Their offense will be good enough to keep them in games, but like you said Nuss isn’t the second coming and I don’t expect their defense to dramatically improve. I expect Kelly to get in his own way and they’ll finish 9-3 or 8-4.

Yea i trust BK to go about 9-3 play in the Citrus Bowl at LSU and that won’t cut it anymore. They have put all their chips in this season to get to the playoff and challenge for the SEC and natty.
