Well it's more on the OL than anything with JG. And I would like to see offensive play calls that try to keep JG from taking hits so we'll see what kind of changes they come up with Saturday.
Oh okay, that's changes everything.

So a team that goes 9-4 beats Georgia Florida and Virginia tech is not a quality team? Some of you guys have lost your minds.
If Virginia Tech could have got out of their own way we would have lost that game. It took a miracle to beat Georgia. And the Florida game could have went either way. We were toasted against Alabama. Yeah the team had talent. But Dobbs saved most of those games. 9-4 looks good. But the team was poorly coached. Should have been 10-2.

sort of being discussed on Nashville radio this morning. the coaches have to stop running into a brick wall. they need to either go max protect with 2 wr and throw it away if nobody is open or zone block to try and open creases. seems like our coaches have no intention of deviating from running their system even though they don't have the players for it.
Everyone wants to establish the run but you can only do it if you have the quality players (big, strong) to make those holes. Don't think we have enough of those type players yet. A successful pass game opens up the run, but then we can't have that when the QB is lying on his back most of the game. Those two things go hand-in-hand. At least if you come out firing you have defenders backing up instead of charging like bulls.

that's why it would be a good idea to get JG rolling out of the pocket to pass downfield and also quick passes to backs out of the backfield...anything to keep him from getting seriously hurt...and,

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we're rolling somebody out I'd rather have KC doing it

This is one low-class thread. Shame on you, OP.

We don't make fun of our lads (or anyone else's) getting hurt, we don't place bets on our lads getting hurt, we don't play games with the idea of our lads getting hurt.
I like gallows humor- it takes the sting out of embarrassing defeats. I dont want to see anyone hurt- except for Gators.

Its going to come down to this.... once when Low Holtz's team was getting their butts kicked, and at the end of half time his team came roaring out of the locker room and onto the field.

Here is Lou's reply to a good question.... complete with graphic visuals.

Reporter asked Low what did he say to his beaten and battered team to get them all fired up to get back out there... "sppit , Eashy, I juesst told them that the lassspt 11 guys out of the loccheresht room will have to play in the second shallf... spitc& splatter".

Gonna be much the same tomorrow I am afraid.

I don’t wade in the mud too much in here, but OP and some on this thread, are you bored? Look at the thread subject you started. Yes, it will get a conversation started, but I think you started on the wrong foot on this one.
