Considering the O line couldnt block a motivated middle- schooler , how long will our QB last ? I will set the over/under at 21 minutes before he is carried from the battlefield too broken ( emotionally and physically) to play any more at least for that day and maybe the remainder of the season. I am sincere, when I say we should quik kick on first down on any possession on our side of the 50. That might prevent an all-time epic rout like 100 to 3 . We will wait til Bama kicks the **** out of this sorry bunch. The DAWGS are very close to Bama now and they have not forgotten the BLESSED HAIL MARY we did back when we had a real team.

That hail Mary team wasnt a real team. We had some good players. But by no means a quality team. Coach saw to that.

UGA is top shelf and all...and we're not. But, I always get a kick out of UGA calling us out on our luck with the Hail Mary (it was), when we wouldn't have needed to pull off the play if they weren't just as lucky a few seconds prior.

sort of being discussed on Nashville radio this morning. the coaches have to stop running into a brick wall. they need to either go max protect with 2 wr and throw it away if nobody is open or zone block to try and open creases. seems like our coaches have no intention of deviating from running their system even though they don't have the players for it.

I think they were talking about this also on Sports Animal too, but had to change off because couldn't bear to listen to another Cordell, Cordell and Cordell divorce lawyer commercial.

All that seems familiar for some reason.

Yes. The choices seem to be run some version of Butch's system the rest of the year and maybe have a shot at 5-6 wins or keep doing what we've been doing and probably go 3-9.

FWIW, if I knew we could only get 5 by going back to the future I'd say stick with the new stuff and play the young guys as much as possible. With a bowl game as a possible, I think they have to do whatever gives us the best chance to win. This week it really doesn't matter except for getting reps in whatever system it is they plan to ride the rest of the way this year.

21 minutes may be a little high. Could be first quarter.

that's why it would be a good idea to get JG rolling out of the pocket to pass downfield and also quick passes to backs out of the backfield...anything to keep him from getting seriously hurt...and,

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get sick of hearing the commercial that starts with 'This is Tyler.'

I figure mid to late 3rd. qtr. But not for the reasons you so brutality see. I think we will be far enough behind to change just to not get injuries to our starter and to also give playing time to backups.

Depends a lot on Helton's play calling. He may decide to run all day regardless of score. If so, JG will play 3 qtrs without getting hurt and then Chryst takes over mid 3rd qtr when score is 73-10.

It may not be as many as y’all think, We only have 3 sacks the entire year, it’s been a HUGE weakness for us this year, even against the likes of Austin Peay and Middle Tennesse St.

i think you're still over estimating, to some degree, what this roster is capable of in either system.

we're not going to a bowl

it's time for the long game. get guys reps, develop the roster. the returning guys for next year need to show up for spring, summer and fall camp knowing what htey're supposed to do and how to do it, and they need to be able to show the incoming class what to do as well. not sure there's a whole lot to be gained by tinkering with personnel or scheme at this point.

go do what you do, so you have a shot at being better at it next year, and maybe build some depth along the way.

and you still may find yourself in a position to win that 5th or 6th game...who knows. it's only week 5. but i wouldn't put any money on us participating in the post season.........
