There's lots of tickets available on stubhub and craigslist, and the sellers don't seem to have a "Vols-only" requirement for offers.

920 tickets on stubhub... you deem this a lot? that's a fairly low number compared to most games...

There is no way they have anywhere close to 35,000. Their allotment is 10-15,000. I'd say anywhere around 20,000.

That's why I said "good amount" there bro, and not all. I'm thirty, graduated from UT, and bleed orange as much as anyone else. Can't do anything about my age though.

How about this then, since semantics seem to be so important to you...lowest point in recent history?

Lowest point in recent history would be this year.

I would say about 15k.... I live in Huntsville, AL. I deal with these fools on a daily basis and I can tell you they are very gloom and doom after one loss. A lot of them are still ticked at the ole miss game and said they expect UT to take them to the wire. Don't expect as many as you think. Many of them as crazy as they are have already fallen off the wagon.

Also everyone should take into account we haven't had a home game in 4 calendar weeks as of this coming Saturday. I expect a lot more UT fans will show just because of the withdrawal of having to go 28 days without a home game.

But most bought tickets before the SC lose. And after the Ohio St. lose, AL back in the hunt for the NC.

You take the over in this bet. Bad economy....team playing below par......Bama team playing top 10 football and a history of Bama fans paying top dollar for a seat anywhere tells me the over is the solid bet.

I don't know...30,000 Bama fans? It's starting to get cool outside and that's a lot of weekly trailer rental payments missed if they buy a ticket. It'd sure ugly up the country if that many were homeless.

I'm going with the under.

Agree. I don't think the UT football program has ever had so little promise since Majors returned. The program is at a lifetime low for me, at least.

It's worse than then in my opinion. Majors inherited the 3rd most talented team in the SEC, an SEC schedule that rarely included either Florida or Georgia, no divisional play or SEC title game, and a very patient fan base that loved the pageantry of the game and the tradition of Tennessee football enough to withstand a long winter by Majors' horrid coordinators during his early tenure.

since bama's loss to uscjr i don't think the enthusiasm is there...i say under - not much at stake for them now and they are confident they will win big.
