I think mayyyyyyyyyybe not, Any B10 fan will tell you and i argue with them everyday, they are "smashmouth football" or some crap like that. Yes their rec. are fast and RBs are fast, but LBs DTs DEs and CBs are all faster in the SEC.....watch our LBs chase the RBs down like it was nothing:clapping:

Ummmmm, the Big 10 produces as many LBs, CBs, and DEs as the SEC.

well, that's a conclusion. any supporting facts?

i would bet my mortgage that the sec produces more defensive nfl players than any other conference. this fact is easily ascertainable, so please look it up.

Anyway, I definitely did read a draft evaluation that showed concerns about his speed. I think he'll end up a pretty good player, anyway.

I've been at the bar all day and going to a Christmas party tonight. I'll have some numbers tomorrow. However, I've always said the SEC is better, but the gap isn't as large as some of you SEC fanboys think.

Been to a few SEC games this year and I have been to 4 Big Ten games this year and if you want to compare speed, its not really close. Seems to be quite a bit more speed in the SEC than in the Big Ten(with the exception of Ohio State.)

I *never* said the SEC wasn't! PAY FREAKING ATTENTION! I've gone out of my way to say the SEC is the best, but the gap is not as large as YOU make it out to be. Pllllllease follow along.

And I don't know what those numbers are you posted.

I'll be honest, I did this pretty half-arsed today. These are the counts for DEs, LBs, and DBs on NFL Pre-Camp rosters as hand-counted by me. I'm sure there are small mistakes, but you get the jist.

DEs on Pre-Camp Rosters: SEC - 32, Big 10 - 27
LBs: SEC - 34, Big 10 - 35
DBs: SEC - 53, Big 10 - 36

Only big difference is DBs.

WHAT?! Someone said the Big 10 was nowhere close to the SEC in speed. I overstated a little saying they were even. The SEC has produced LESS linebackers than the Big 10. Therefore, I don't think the LBs from the Big 10 are very slow.

WRs in pre-camp rosters: SEC - 52, Big 10 - 49
