Let me say this there is no tradition in the nation like this one. When you hear 100k sing Rocky Top it's a very moving moment. What a special special tradition we have.

How many of the NU fans and team have woke up in the middle of the night hearing Rocky Top and WOOOOO in their dreams?

I actually coach a kid who is committed to Northwestern. He was at the game and told me how impressive it was to hear the Tennessee fan base. Also told me how much he would love to go to Tennessee. :dance2:

If you watch closely at the NU sideline, they all stop what they are doing and take it all in too. That IS a testament to a program like ours.

That's great, thanks op.

Btw, there is and will always be a Wooo after the last Rocky Top , right b4 Tennessee. Shame some folks don't know that.

Was roaming the grounds of Raymond James before the game and passed by 3 purple-clad coeds. I heard one turn to the others and say, "there's nothing but freakin' orange everywhere."

Vol-Nation.

:)

PS. In other news, apparently the NU band can actually spell "N" during it's pregame performance. Impressive. I kid, I kid. My son (Pride trumpet) hung out at the bowl activities with the NU band and said they were a class group. They waited by their buses AFTER the beat-down and gave the Pride an ovation as they marched by to their buses. They were a good band, just way smaller than the Pride.

Anyone see one of their three band leaders face plant during their entrance? Wish there was a video cause it seemed she fought it for a good 5 or 6 yards.

My son saw it and told us about it. Sadly, I missed it and haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, she hit the turf pretty hard, but, give her credit, she kept on going. Kinda like the NU team. They took our shots but lived to talk about it.

It just does NOT get any better than that !!!!!!!!!!

FYI...The WOOOO gets our fans fired up even more.

The best part is the WOOOO scares the other team and their fans to death.

Next season at Neyland watch the other team and their fans jump a bit when the 1st WOOO happens, LOL!

It just doesn't get any better than the Pride and our Vols.

VFL...GBO!!!
