Out of Gas

That crappy zone we played is to blame for them making that run. That one leaves me scratching my head a little. After about the third three pointer i would have switched back to man. Who cares we won the game. Winning on the road is a big factor in ncaa seeding. So it was big getting two road wins this week.

If there was any reason they slowed things up near the end, I would say it had more to do with the whole team about to foul out instead of being too tired. With the way MSU was shooting, though, I think we did a good job just holding on for the win. 7-8 from three at the end of the game like that will win most games.

Not denying we're good, road play has been good. Its just that we get a great lead then blow it,and hang on to win.

I agree 100%, I'm not happy with the lull we have in the second half, but I'm glad we can are stong enough to stay out front....Miss State almost made us pay for it like KY did....

Like I stated in a previous post, they were shooting lights out but there at the end it seemed we were trying to match 3's and missing. GGod way to cool off that run is to get some fouls on them.

I did not see the game but heard Miss State went on a phenomenal tear in the 2nd half. Do you blame our kids or give them credit. Based on what I heard, I give them credit.

I also credit our boys for weathering the storm and pulling out the win. Hopefully it was a character building game that will prepare them for March.
