Seems as if the multiple OC's and coaching staffs, have our WR's playing timid. I don't think they have much confidence right now, at least in what they know of the playbook. They all seem slow out of their breaks really.

I guess we're blaming that on the multiple coaches too

If you don't think that our lack of stability in the program has effected their confidence in just about everything they do, especially for these guys who have been here for a while, then your extremely naive.

Weed need Gerald, he knows how to find open space and sit in it and give the qb a target to throw too. Our freshman are still learning to do that. It just takes time. Which is a hard pill to swallow:cool:

it doesn't cause wide open passes to be dropped. Call me naive if you wish but I will never believe that

I agree. They are out of sync. Why is Da Rick Rogers not being used more?

about 6 years. Break hard off the line of scrimmage, run the right route, make sharp breaks, catch the ball. It's not rocket science.

Actually it's more difficult than that. A WR and QB have to have precise timing something that killed Crompton and the WRs until the 4th QTR of Auburn game. The WRs have to lineup right first and foremost at a certain distance, and it may sound easy but freshmen WRs usually are always a little off to the left or right when they line up. Then with timing, the QB expects a WR to make his cut or move at a certain yardage and expects his WR to be there. A yard difference can result in overthrows, under throws, tough catches, etc....

It was a big issue last year as well until really the UGA game.
