a blowout win like this after MSU just stunned Vandy next week, let the excuses begin about his not being fired, and why we would be dangerous against BAMA next weekend.

Here is the real question, with whom we lose and whom we could land and have landed....with Herbert and Hollins added to our DL, maybe moses and white added to OL, and hopefully some playmakers in WR (M. Brown and Jeron Stokes) ......

Do we risk losing this class(+playmakers on both sides) as another crappy shade of orange did in recruiting or do we hope that with a few adjustments and obviously the blessing of the AD, CPF and staff will turn it around..

I am in favor of the first since we can;t afford to have a program that is so inconsistent, but which way would you go...

By the way I blame more of the problems on our QB play, ask some programs such as Wisconsin, TAMU, and Clemson, what it is like to not have a solid passing game. OUCH

IMO a coaching change is such a momentous decision (especially at UTK, where we've had two coaches in 30 years) that you either make it or don't based entirely on its merits, not with an eye on a particular recruiting class. It's like sitting in the dealership, thinking about trading your car in, and worrying about the fact that it's got a full tank of gas.

The fact that playing Vandy has to be factored in for a UT opponent when judging the success of Fulmer is sad. This is also the same Miss State team that lost 3-2 to Auburn. One game blowout win against a last place SEC team should not change opinions on Fulmer, the program, and the future. Empty seats were everywhere and they wont be soon filled with Fulmer on the sideline.

Exactly!!! The Program is bigger than any ONE PLAYER, RECRUIT, or COACH.
