Our two party system is broken.

JDog, what are you trying to argue?

If you are attempting to conclude that everything is subjective/relative, based on the premise that one can only perceive the world subjectively, you are only warranted in drawing the conclusion that one cannot prove objectivity. Said premise does not provide warrant the conclusion that everything is subjective/relative.

I dont have the vocab to explain the things I have seen, and the way they made me feel. I would never betray the experience with words.

Subjective experience vs objective experience.

Your post is indicative of a subjective truth experience.

PKT, subjective reality is all there is for humans. Your opinion of my experience is subjective. My opinion of my experience is subjective because the eperience and how I perceved it shaped my opinion. Unfortunatly subjective truth is all humans know. Psychedelics are just one more piece of the puzzle. But they are not objective "truth".

Disagree. There is subjective reality and objective reality. Phycadelics help discover subjective reality.

You have never "tripped", how can you speak about psychedelic experience without the experience? Also, how do you KNOW there is objective reality?

Define real, reality, and objective, please.
Real- Not artificial, fraudulent, or illusory. Reality- A real event, entity, or state of affairs.

Objective is something that is completely unbiased.
It is not touched by the speaker’s previous experiences or tastes.
Subjective is something that has been colored by the speaker or writer. It reflects the speakers perception of reality.

Sorry I'm about to ruin your philosophy thread, but I just came across these ADHD cartoons and thought they belonged in a thread about our 2 party system:

1) I have heard many others talk about it.

2) Very simple. Impressions have to have inspiration. The inspiration to subjective reality is objective reality. Knowing its existence does not necessitate that one will ever understand it.

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
You are going to have to explain more here. It is not making much sense.
Super string theory states that what we perceive to be "physical matter" are actually "waves". Its almost like a broadcast on the radio. Our "reality" is just the frequency we perceive, one of an infinite number of frequencies. Its our brains that turn these "waves" into what we perceive to be "hard reality" (double slit experiment). This to me backs what people on psychedelics always try to explain as "we are all connected or we are one". Read this link carefully and think about it and let me know what you think. The Holographic Universe

I am well versed in string theory and know all about the Holographic principal. If you are really into this, you ought to pull up me and Thrasher's thread on this topic.

I was more interested your your assertion that there is no life or death. From a physics standpoint, I understand. From a biology standpoint, I don't understand.

I hope that helps.

Sadly, I feel it's going to take an extremely gratuitous abuse of power and constitutional law by one or both sides before we will see a paradigm shift in the current two party system.

Television/pop culture has pacified and hypnotized the masses; most are more concerned with Honey Boo Boo than Healthcare, taxes, and the future of the country.

I agree with the notion that both sides are infested with snakes, elitists, and power hungry shysters whose definition of improving America applies only to their constituency and their pockets.
