It's obvious this is a troll thread now.

Mods please escort this garbage to Pruitt's office. Immediately.
Why you got to ruin it. Obviously some haven’t caught on. We can’t have nice things......

LittleVol is normally somewhat reasonable, so either he’s trolling(most likely),drunk, or woke up short bus stupid.

1) I don't drink because I wanted to be respected for the man I am at all times.

2) I'm trying to school y'all up on our QB! This dude has been keeping us afloat...FOR 2 YEARS!! He puts up 300 and 2 scores and y'all want to bench him?

Where's the loyalty.?

Name me ONE worse QB in the past 30 years at UT who has gotten this many starts (or even close to this many)...

He is the worst QB at UT in 30+ years who’s gotten to start more than...say...10 games. Prove me wrong or even make an argument. I’ll listen.

He put up 311 yards and 2 TDs.
One in the beginning. One at the end. That's called playing a complete game.

He was engaged all game long. He missed some throws but what can you can expect with such a strong arm?

He checked down a lot because it was the closest eligible receiver, and he has faith in all his teammates!

For those of you complaining about him sliding too early...if he gets hurt... who's going to play QB? He wasn't thinking about himself. He was thinking about his TEAM.

This is JGs team! For two more years! That's a lot of opportunities to get better.

GO VOLS!

While I don’t (remotely) think he was the cause for the loss. 300 yards doesn’t necessarily mean you played well. He struggled trying to read, he struggled trying to run, he struggled getting rid of the ball, he struggled with decision making, and at times he seemed lost.

Sure at times he made some good passes......but really can’t any starting sec qb make “some”?

Nothing is free. He marched the offense down the field because that's his job.
The game was over. How many turnovers did he have? The 90 mph fast ball @ 5yds is on him, as well as turning your back to on coming pressure and taking a sack fumble. He sucks and should quit before he gets himself seriously injured.

Stop putting lipstick on that pig.

Well I think he was 26 of 40...
That's a little more than "some"

We have to stay the course guys.

Should really be praising the WRs for bailing JG out.

Most passes were down right horrible.

One pass I know of was a terrible choice to throw it to the receiver he chose to because as soon as our receiver caught it his knees got taken out from under him in a way that could have caused a serious injury.

It's a wonder no receivers got hurt. Thankful for that.

I don't know...what are you measuring as a good QB??
If he's so bad, how has he started for over 2 years? Answer that.

We should always praise the Wrs. It's criminal what JG and this system is doing to their careers . Tee Higgins made the best decision of his life not coming to ut. I feel bad for Callaway and Jennings.

Callaway is my favorite player on the team and would be a first round draft pick if he was on a better team. Jennings also.

Got to feel for the guys. It's sad. This coaching staff and JG robbing these guys of millions.

I don’t think I even mentioned his %. I said he did make some “nice” completions.......and he did. He also made a bunch of sideline, and short dump off completions as well.

His % numbers isn’t the problem, his decision making & leadership skills are.

Keeping us afloat for two years? We haven’t been afloat for two years. Who cares about 300 yards if you lose! Looks like some village has lost their idiot

On another note I think he is far from the biggest problem. The D is the Mount Rushmore of the problem.......and much of that is coaching. The lack of a run game is another BIG problem.

1. Coaching (preparation, motivation, evaluations, talent building, ect.)
2. Simply the D
3. Player motivation (this is a combination of coaching and the players themselves)
4. All around skill level (overall players looked slow, not strong, not overly athletic, and again highly unmotivated)
5. Play calling (mostly on D, but surely the O on the back end of the first half)
6. QB play ( yards check, % check, able to read, adjust and make good decisions......no)

Is that you Jarrett?

Little Vol, he dinked and dunked and padded his yards for completion, yes.

But he got himself whacked several times---or his receivers whacked---because he apparently cannot learn NOT to hold the ball too long.
His complete game was a lot of not-unimportant plays, but could not close the deal in the 4th quarter, when he had an opportunity to atone for
his marginal to spotty performance in the previous quarters. Because he could not close the deal...and he also had some ham-handed
possession receivers, as well, the team L O S T. He blew it. He had the opportunity to pull the team's chestnuts out of the fire, and could not.
And that has been his track record for most of the games he has played.

Of course, when you have an offensive line that acts like matadors...and allows the bulls along the defensive line to rush by, what can one expect. But not every
screw up---bad passes, etc.,---was due to bad line play.

And he will be replaced first chance a good quarterback comes along. He is marginal, and may have been a C+ under Botch Jones's screwball football system.
This is a pro-set being used now, and JG is not doing well at it. They have done everything they can to massage his ego, to give him confidence,
because he was mishandled by Botch Jones, who coached his father at Rutgers.

Remember, please, when a QB comes from the NE, and the media there, who set the stage for much of the rest of the country; he was a public relations win.
Unfortunately that does not translate to being good enough to win in the SEC, consistently.

You make a good point. Recruiting has been a failure or there would have been some legitimate pro-set quarterbacks on the roster, who were top 4 or 5 in class rankings.

When they were down 15 with still about 5 minutes left, he threw the 4th down pass 25 yards out of bounds with no pressure.

He's not very talented, and that throw revealed he was a quitter.

This is not the kind of guy you rally behind. Maybe it would have taken a miracle, but a miracle to avoid the most humiliating loss in D1 history is better than nothing. And he chucked it 25 yards out of bounds.
