A non running QB with the Vols Oline is a recipe for disaster, not to mention Butch Jones offense

Hopefully this is sarcastic... Remember the names Dooley (not actually stolen but still), Sunseri, Thompson (who was actually good)? Smart and Muschamp having a few issues of their own. McElwain, not just setting woods on fire in an objective analysis of the FL program. He's snuffed our hopes a couple of years in a row, but they are far from a great team. Just because all of these coached under Saban doesn't mean they got his magic dust...

Amen. If we had the cowboys oline I'm sure QD would do great and would be the preferable starter. But not with a questionable line.

Much has been said about Shoop's lack of success this year due to injuries and not having "his guys" as assistants. Question: How long do you have to work with others before they become "your guys"? Seems like some sort of chemistry should start to develop between DC and assistants after a year and that improvement should be noted in year 2. Unless of course they just all suck to start with.

Because is is kinda pale, therefore not athletic enough to run the ball when needed.

I firmly believe if Hurd had not been in the locker room for Appy. St., Va. Tech, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Bama, South Carolina...we would have not fallen behind so fast in the first 5 of those games...and played good enough to beat SC by 14 points.

Yes....a team locker room cancer can be that disruptive. The offensive unit had to overcome the fact that one of the best players on that side of the ball was not all in.

I hope Blackburn does get the job as he's qualified and personally connected to the school. That said most of our higher positions these days goes to people deemed qualified with zero connections to the institution. Therefore our new AD is more likely to be a chick running the Vassar AD than it is a guy who graduated from UT.

I firmly believe if we had a coach worth anything, he would of straightened him out or let him loose before the season. It would of been a much more mutual parting and we would of been more productive with Kelly back there anyways.

He's AD at a level barely above Brentwood Academy and everyone like sheep is lined up behind him cause he used to work here. And to hell with anyone who might else be considered regardless of their qualifications. Probably the all time stupidest move by Vol fans yet we wonder how the program gets in the **** shape it is.

Im not totally opposed to Blackburn being named but hell look around a little. See who else, with maybe a better track track at FBS level, is available. This program doesn't need another mistake regardless of where he went to school.
