Gotta establish a solid running game before we can really get success downfield. I felt that was what happened in the 2nd half, essentially our RBs couldnt get anything going and then with no threat of getting gashed, our receivers were covered, leaving Maurer with few targets downfield.

Sounds like they had it planned all along.

Seemed to work out this way. Notre dame passed a bunch because Georgia’s front 7 is so talented.

We definitely went a little stale in the second half. Not sure if we just didn’t block well or didn’t get creative enough getting the ball to play makers. With depth on defense I think we would have done enough to stay in the game.
