I really don't want to get into this with you. Not sure why you're being so defensive about it and correcting me like,"I said" "I haven't said" "you may want to re-watch". I know what you said, it's clearly there for anybody to read. Maybe be a bit more specific in your writing.
Yes, you did say the first 2 games. You said and I quote,"No I’m somewhat concerned that for the first 2 games we have had several negative or 0 -1 yard runs.". The main problem with that sentence is that in the 2nd game we didn't have any negative yardage runs.
Then in your most recent response you said,"Ok I said first 2 games and there were definitely negative yardage against SC and you may want to re watch the Mizzou game because there was at least 5-6 0 yard gains to go along with them 1-2 yard gains.". All in one sentence, as if you are implying that a run that goes for no gain means it's a negative yardage play. It isn't. 0 is not a negative number. Or was that just one big run-on sentence?
I never said you didn't believe they haven't been good. I just said they did good and that there isn't much to complain about. So, again, I'm not sure why you're getting defensive about that...like I specifically said "You don't think they are good.". I just don't see the point in you complaining about some plays that went for either no gain or just a couple of yards. That's going to happen, you'd be hard pressed to find a team that it doesn't happen to.
It was a complete improvement from game one. We converted more 3rd downs and had no negative yardage runs. Even converted 4/4 in 4th down conversions. We went 1/12 on 3rd down conversions in the first game. One could argue that a 1-2 yard run can make all the difference, as we saw in this game, to extending our drives.
But go ahead and feel how you want to feel, about how it's not good enough to win.
