My biggest takeaway from yesterday is how well our O-Line played. I had a good feeling about them coming into the season and they've exceeded my expectations. We were able to run when we needed and best of all they gave Joey a clean pocket all game. UGA is the best front 7 we will face this season and the more they play the better they will gel. If they stay healthy our offense can be 2022 elite. I didn't expect them to control the line of scrimmage the way they did

Watch yall think?

IM gonna say I was impressed with how the game went.. didnt end up how we wanted but one of the best complete games in a long time...our young defensive players have to grow up some now after last night, (i know this is o-line thread )
No worries, Hoss, and I agree. I can't tell you the last time I've been this optimistic after a loss. We are a DAMN GOOD football team with Elite potential. If this team can circle the wagons and come out swinging, we will be in Atlanta. Everything we want is in front of us and we have a manageable schedule.

Exactly. I don’t recall much pressure or a sack. Regardless, they played great ball… Bama and Gators will feel it.

Im not sure if idsay elite but definitely think really good, ugas defensive line was notably smaller than usual. Have definitely noticed way less penalites so far this year on the line but i also think alot of it was predated by nicos snap count

Yeah, I may have misspoke when I said elite. They are great with the potential of elite. I didn't expect them to control the LOS the way they did against UGA

Good, yes. I don’t know about elite. We didn’t seem to be able to run as well as I hoped. Got to stop the false starts which are inexcusable especially the one at the end of regulation.
We just didn’t run a lot to be honest. When we did it felt like we had success. Atleast that’s the feeling I got during the game, but I haven’t gotten to rewatch the game yet. It just felt like Heupel thought our receivers were better than their DBs either way and wanted to attack that. But yes to the false start at the end of regulation. That is inexcusable. But I am optimistic.
