So what if he's rooted for Bama his whole life. Just means he understands that the program he's inheriting is similar to Bama's from '97 to '07. Maybe he wants to be like Saban who took a program at rock bottom and made it into a dynasty.

If he builds Tennessee into a dynasty then I have no doubt his loyalty to us will be stronger because HE built it. Its his and not someone else's that was given to him.

Darrel Royal graduated from Oklahoma.
Pat Dye graduated from Georgia.
Vince Dooley graduated from Auburn.
Dabo.....

Our last coach was building a team of "Life Champions" brick by brick... but it was soon discovered that he was short by about a train load of bricks... so his construction project was abruptly terminated. Now, we have a coach with no HC experience, but tons of P5 DC and assistant coaching experience... and that with CHAMPIONSHIP quality teams. Volnationals, I think we should take time to smell the roses and let that sink in. When we do, I think we will finally realize Fulmer has hired us a fine head coach - one of whom we will be proud. Go Vols...

Exactly! If we have to offer Pruitt more money because other schools are trying to lure him away it means WE ARE DOING GOOD AGAIN.

How many top schools tried to lure Butch away from us??

Wouldn't it be nice if for once instead of UT begging HC's to leave their current job and coach our crap show that instead our coach is so good he's "talking" to another team just to scare our AD and get a raise and extension knowing he can and will just like Gundy has done many times?
