Our game against Oregon may have just gotten a bit easier.

Where did you see that it was the QB? I read that they haven't released the "persons of interest." Was it Masoli?

Pac-10 football: Oregon players find off-the-field trouble; Keenan Lowe commits. News notes & links | Pac-10 - OregonLive.com

The short story is this, Oregon's qb and one of their wide receivers have been accused of robbing a frat house.

In addition to that, (and I'm not making light of this situation) their kicker is currently in critical condition after being involved in a brawl.

We really do not need to sink to this level as to report things like this do we?

Thats very unfortunate for their football program. I wish their kicker a swift & complete recovery.

If you read the article, it says Masoli and Embry.

Have we sunk this low?

Wow man.. Their is a point where football ceases to be important.. This is one of those cases..

How is it sinking to any level? I said that I wasn't making light of the kicker situation, it's awful that he's in such bad shape and I hope he gets better. I was mainly commenting on Masoli, but the article mentioned both situations, so I commented on them. Oregon losing Masoli (if he was involved in the theft, and gets punished for it) would make a big difference in the game.

People need to get off their moral high horse.

If Lagarrett Blount can come back, then Masoli will definitely be back, even if he is charged with theft.

Well, the difference there is that what Blount did wasn't an off the field legal thing, so it was handled internally. Remember, he was suspended for something like 8 games. If Oregon's coach is trying to send a message about decipline, perhaps Masoli would receive a suspension as well.

I was thinking the same thing.

I feel bad for Chip Kelly. He's a a lot to deal with in his short stint as HC out there. Again, my prayers are with the kicker.

Remember that time when we got killed by the zone read option last year by pretty much every team that ran it? Oregon pretty much owns the zone read.

Yeah, but im not worried about last year. Theres a new sheriff in town with almost a completely new staff, lets see how they adjust.

So because the guy reports that the kicker is in critical condition, and two stars got arrested, he's some how offended you? Or he is some cretin that does not have any morals?

Get off you moral Shetland ponies.
