Our Fans are Crazy

If our "fans" want someone to blame look no further than your hero Fulmer and his last 4-5 recruiting classes. Then look up Kiffin, Lane's tenure here and then, just for ****s and gigs, look at our depth chart when Dooley was hired. Man people are stupid as hell.

Myself...I just hope that the people who are dogging this team which 70% are freshman and soph, will just stop calling themselves fans...and when this thing finally does get turned around, i hope u delete your account...anyone can call themselves fan during the national championship, but u find the "real" ones when we have teams like we have right now

So if they dont agree with you and others then they are not real fans ? what makes your opinion right ?You see and think what you want to and others see and think what they want to.If you think DD and his staff will get the job done then so be it but dont call other people out saying they are not fans because they dont agree with you.

Let's see, next season Bray, Hunter, and D.Rogers will all be back. Our young o-line, that actually took a step forward today, will be back. Our D will have more depth through recruiting(yes, it will be young depth but depth none the less). The players will have another off season of workouts. All that sounds pretty positive to me so I don't buy this "no hope" bs. Will everything click next season? I don't know, but it doesn't look bad. IMO

We're outmanned in almost every game this year. They've got better athletes and more depth. Our fans expect us to win all these games. I for one hope we win but with Matt Simms at QB what can you expect. Teague and others at CB what can we expect from the D. We've got first or second year starters everywhere. Half of them wouldn't get PT period on the other side of the field. This isn't on the coaches LSU is just a lot better team right now. They're not #1 for nothing. Da'Rick Rogers is the only guy that would have a chance at starting for LSU on offense. While Malik Jackson would be the only guy getting PT over there in today's game. That's how far these teams are apart. The gameplans were good we just don't have the talent yet to beat the #1 team in America.

No. I expect for us to do whatever is necessary (legally) to get players that can compete and win. If Dooley and staff aren't good enough evaluators and salesmen to get it done, then let's quit wasting time and find somebody who can.

I accept no excuses for Dooley not being able thus far to beat a single team with a pulse since he's been here.

Dooley has done and is doing very well in recruiting. You should pay more attention to recruiting if you want to critique it because it's pretty clear you have no idea what you're talking about.

And this explains why your points aren't valid.

If he has done so well in recruiting, why are we so crappy on the O-line and at RB. Most of the guys at these positions are his recruits. I don't agree that he had done well in recruiting. His recruiting has consistently been about 6-8th in the conference. He's got to recruit equal or better than our competition, not lag behind.

maybe because they are 1.5 seasons into their career. The RB is a Sr and he is also using Lane.

have you even checked on this year's class before typing your post?

The guys he has recruited are Freshman and Sophomores. Is it really that difficult to understand? He held together a #9 class, then followed that up with a #13 class and will have another top 10 class this year. Once again, you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm just glad these games are played on Saturdays and not Sundays. I have so many bama fans for friends and I just can't stand watching this team play so I'm just going to get really drunk and recover Sundays the next few weeks.

This ship started sinking when we lost the SECCG to LSU back in 2001. Everyone knew that Fulmer just couldn't get it done anymore and top talent stopped coming here. Yet we kept letting the ship sink for seven more years til we let Fulmer go. Now all of a sudden Dooley is supposed to magically wave a wand and fix it all in 1.5 years after seven years of decline. Are you guys freaking delusional? I know everyone wants to win but GIVE IT TIME.... Rome wasn't built in a day.....

I think Dooley is a class act and has several key factors that will help in recruiting and getting talent back here: First, if you are good you will see PT immediately rather than waiting two years on the bench for upperclassmen to leave. Second, I think he will make great impressions on parents of recruits that he runs a clean program, stresses character and education which will help sway parents recommendations.

This thing will turn around and we will be back...... GO VOLS...!

Don't tell those crazy fans. They don't want to hear it any more than I want to hear the cries for blood and sacrifices. I should just go back to my corner and shut up.

Who cares what Oregon did or didn't do. It's sad that we have been so bad our fans think 100 yards rushing as a team is good now.

Consider the competition. Against that suffocating defense, I actually find 100 yds surprising.

But you have absolutely no decision making authority concerning the UT program. The AD and big $$$ donors control the direction of the program. CDD is swimming in cool water through next year.

Football is 60 minutes. 1st half dont mean sh*t if you can't finish.

I guess it depends. Are you looking for improvement? Then it means something. If you're talking about winning the game, then no. But thanks for clearing up the length of a football game for me.

I just love the people who go from, "we are going to win this" pregame to "we suck", "Dooley sucks, Fire Dooley!", etc during and after the game.

Hilarious and ridiculous all at the same time.

Thanks, hman. I'm not much of a drinker, but a few beers might do me good right now. I'm more of a bourbon guy if ya got any. :)

I got more fired up about the reaction to the loss than the loss itself. Stupid on my part.

A whopping 109 yards rushing on 30 carries and sadly thats improvement.

Basically only had the ball twice in the second half. Really effects some statistics. Just look at the time of possession.

If brilliant people like you ran the AD, UT would become permanent members of the SEC basement.
