I want you to know that I just turned down free tix in a nice suite at Jerry World for tomorrow night's Cowboys game so I could watch my beloved Vols.

Really a no brainer but I wanted y'all to be impressed with my devotion any way.

I'm sure this will balance out when Nina Agdal buys me tix for the SEC Championship game.

GO VOLS!!!

I agree our faith will be tested.

Chances are, we'll lose a game, maybe even two, during the regular season.

It's entirely possible we lose after leading at some point in a game. Could be in the 4th Qtr.

We will see players make mistakes on the field. We will see players make mistakes off the field. We will see coaches make mistakes on the sideline.

These have all been grounds in the past for VolNation to completely melt down, to lose faith, to declare the season at a horrific end.

So keep the faith. Don't give in to despair. Don't completely lose your gourd on these threads.

Ah, who am I kidding? It's gonna happen. I'll bow to the inevitable. VolNation will lose its collective mind, as we always do. :)

Love you all, hehe. Go Vols!

We wouldn't be Vol fans if our faith wasn't going to be tested at some point in the season.

I just hope that the faith is finally rewarded.

Every SEC team no matter how good faces at least one game they escape by the skin of their teeth or loses outright. Often this happens against an opponent you would not ordinarily suspect could do it. I do not see us being any different. Many are saying the A&M game is the trap game, I see it but I believe we work them over. It's one of the other games where we'll have to rally or be lucky at, which one I can't say, I just know it's out there.

I've said this for awhile and I will stick to it, but I really think "that" team is going to be South Carolina. I believe we win the game, but it will be a struggle. USCe competed with Clemson for 4 quarters last year and they would have very possibly beat us if not for a 4th quarter forced fumble as the clock winds down.

Add to that the fact that Muschamp is going to be out all year long to try and find a way to get a statement win and he will be throwing all sorts of books at us trying to find a way to trip us up. It's a road game as well, which just makes it that much more difficult.

I am going to walk 23 miles each way to Neyland.....thru the snow.....uphill........both ways.

That's nothing. Once when I was a kid and we had a big living room I had to walk 23 feet through 7-inch tall shag carpet to change the channel.

I could see that, although I don't think they will have much of an offense and the 4th quarter jitters we've shown under Butch don't seem to apply to SC. However, this program still has a lot to prove on the road.
