Our defense

If you offense can't make a first down, your defense gets gassed. Period. I thought D was good. JG with the help of OL kept giving the ball back. I don't think the way the D played at the end was representative of their ability. Perhaps this game will contribute to physical conditioning for the D. I think we need a change at QB. The turnover count warrants that I believe.

The way Bama is playing UGA to me is the best team in the nation even thou there offense isn't great. They had home field and superior talent, it'll take a couple years of really good recruiting to be able to be deep enough to stand up to them thru 4 quarters.
Nope Alabama beats Ga.

Just looking at the first half. Our run defense was good. Great goal line stand and didn't give up any big running plays forcing the Dogs into more passing. Our pass defense was suspect, probably average. Some busted coverage and their receivers frequently seemed to have a step on our defenders. Even though we never gave them excellent field position in the first half, the still scored 17 and should have been 20 on our defense and their offense is not their strong point.
The 7 points we got at the beginning of the game was a gift in my opinion, not due to a great play by the defense.
If any of the backup QBs are serviceable, they should be given a chance. I don't know what to say about the offensive line, were they over hyped or was Georgia's defensive that dominant. Probably a little of both.
Our RBs are good but not elite. WRs seem to be a strength on the offensive side.
I won't even mention all the stupid penalties and no, we can't blame the officials!!!
Anyway, this is just my realistic view. Before season started I thought a 6-4 record was realistic and I will stick with that prediction.

I agree, D definitely played respectable given the hands they were dealt. By the fourth we were just getting gassed thanks to our Oline and JG.

Yep 3 & outs and without #13 Bennett was able to get around the edge he's not very fast but smart and savvy wish we could get a walkon with that much savvy.I feel #13 would have sacked and even ran him down on the roll outs. We spied Bennett a couple of times and got him to hurry or make a bad throw and then it never happened again. I remember #19 Morven Joseph spying.

Henry T is having to patrol the middle of the defense by himelf. Banks and Crouch are struggling
