Our defense!!!!!!

Our S&C program must be horrendous. We don't control the line on either side of the ball.

D was on field a lot. Looked tired and inactive 4th qtr after big lead. Sutton still a step slow too. Missed Shy and KMc big today.

Too many negatives for our defense to even mention them all but I do want to say that Vereen played really well today.

Our defense is bad
Our offense line is bad
Our running backs are bad
The coaches are bad
We have too many injuries
We probably have to play Bama in the SECCG
Can it get any worse?
Whah whah whah

My problem with the defense is that they have not improved at all. I mean improvement with the players which we have on the field. Also alignment is a major issue, in fact we normally shift away from plays. I am more disappointed in Shoop than any coach on the team. He is not a genius.

I'm still torn on Shoop, but my confidence in him is aligning itself with that of Butch Jones:eek:lol:

Big waste of coaching salary

Giys kill me hes had top 25 defesnes everywhere hes been we dont have personnel for 4 3 and and its on position coaches as well. I dont think its shoop. I think as long as u have players like moseley you need step back and really take long look and u have one descent lb in kirkland. U are not going to have good defense not to mention our dt. I am concerned about our position coaches as well

We are very thin on the defensive line and Reeves Maybin is gone for the season so a lot of youngsters are getting playing time that will benefit them next season.

I can't like this enough. Wtf is wrong with our fan base. LOOK AT OUR STARTERS ON DEFENSE you idiots. We are playing third stringers as starters in the sec.

I truly believe that most on here just show up in here on game day and have absolutely no clue to the fact that we don't have any DT's left except maybe 2 3rd string. We have one good LB out there the rest are the bottom of the depth chart. Barnett and Vereen are it. Thats all we got left that are playing in they'er positions. Makes me wonder how many in here has even played the sport.

Look give Shoop benefit of the doubt. He started the year losing 2 of his top 3 players on defense with Reeves-Maybin and Sutton. Later he loses most of his secondary as well as Kirkland - then the top 3 defensive tackles for the season. If he can cobble together a defense that wins out and finishes first or second in the SEC East that is commendable. Right now he is running a massive bluff and stopping KY today in the red zone was impressive. I see young guys improving but it is a patchwork depth chart. Shoop is a terrific coach and can we have a little common sense here given his situation fellows - just a little bit?
