I'm somewhat perplexed by our recruiting. I thought that these guys would ONLY take the creme of the crop. The kid that commited out of GA. (Copeland) does not have an impressive offer list. Meanwhile Bama just got a commitment from Craig Sanders who was offered by EVERYBODY. Are we sure that these guys are going to light the world on fire with signing the best of the best??

Offer Lists, Stars, and highlight videos are obviously what our coaches should be paying attention to instead of going with their instincts on who will fit our system.

Chris Brown didn't have an impressive offer list. Then UT got his commitment, a bunch of other schools took notice and offered. He ended up having a nice career.

Listen,

Do yourself a favor. Go pick up Meat Market and read it from cover to cover, then come back and voice a new opinion on our staff's ability to eval talent and recruit. Coach O PRIDES himself on finding the diamonds in the rough. He's the best out there. He is quite possibly the BEST D line coach in the game now. If Coach O likes it, then I love it. He is that good. Be happy we got him before the others caught on.

Besides some guys with "questionable" credentials from a human standpoint, what players has Coach O recruited that's turned out to be world beaters. Reading a book does not change the fact that so far, we are not recruiting any unbelievable guys on either side of the ball as far as linemen. That's NOT disputable.

Alabama offered Copeland, and Alabama only offers the best by your logic. So you non-issue after all, eh?

We are in good standing with the #1 OL and DL recruits. Not sure how that doesn't dispute the hell out of your theory. And I would say that Warren Sapp was about as much of "world beater" as you could ever hope to get.

It's not only disputable, but false.

The dude is a 4-star recruit. They only go one higher. And there are only about 25 of those.

Maybe they should hire you to evaluate talent then.

Please don't glorify his tribe by calling it a "theory."

We could only be so lucky. Those slackers we have recruiting for us now only work 16 hours a day and multiple piddling national recruiter of the year credentials.

Dang, we lost that one.

3 ESPN 150 commits and a huge ass OL in Jose Jose. Plus, considering they're all big uglies, the sky's the limit on these JUNIORS barring some sort of injury.

38, have you had a positive post? You should try one they are fun.

Man listen, you have to stop putting so much weight on these rankings and recruiting sites. OK?

This staff knows what it wants for the system. We are loading up on big uglys. Do yourself a favor and check out our commit list so far.

And another thing, F*** Alabama. Quit worrying about what they are doing. Who cares what they have and who committed there.

Go buy the new Football Time. Read up on our coaches and schemes and settle down.

And please lets quit starting threads about recruiting on the main board. We have a very good forum that my man Eric holds down nicely for all the recruiting stuff. Thanks.

He was actually offered my Auburn, Ole Miss, Maryland, Louisville, and South Carolina. Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia had NOT offered. They are the king of the hill right now in recruiting and NONE had offered.

Jose Jose worries me even more. Have you seen a picture of this guy??? He is NOT SEC ready and wasn't offered by Florida or Georgia either.

That's why Mark Smith provides him with a workout routine. He's got a year to lose weight.

Yeah, Auburn, Ole Miss, Maryland, and Louisville haven't had any big DL talent in the last few years.
