What do we feel is the biggest contributor to the decline of our beloved Vols?

1.Coaching
2.Injuries
3.No Ainge
4.We were overated
5.Sloppy play by talented players in big games.
6.Our playbook not including the run.

Sure, it is a combo of these but which one has the biggest impact?

well 5 and 6 are because of number one right now.. so i'll take 1 and take half the excuses with me. i'm almost tempted to throw 4 in there because i don't think it's "overated", i think it's "not motivated"

First of all I don't think there is any decline, I think that we just went through the toughest part of our schedule and there are numerous factors that have contributed to what you are seeing, not just one.

no man, we are alright, we are on the right track right now. We will be more experienced and much better next year. When we were entering this season with returning only 1 of 7 defensive upfront (that 1 just played "3" games), no body expected we could go this far. We played better than what we were considered to be. Let't go vols, crush my hometown little brother Vandy and Ky. Go Vols!

I really hope we can beat Cal in the opener

the biggest problem, the main problem is the head coach. the game has passed him by.

If you think Fulmer is the problem, you are obviously sick. If you blame anyone for the losses in the coaching staff it would be Cutcliffe for not opening up the playbook to Crompton. They tried to keep it too conservative for him and that hurt us. Anytime they let him use his arm and throw it down the field we made big plays. If anything, trying to play Crompton like Ainge is what hurt us. Fulmer is what got us to 7-1 and #8 in the nation, Cutcliffe got us to 7-3 and #23 in the nation... you have to let the kids play.

Our biggest problem is....

....that we are weak in the trenches. Both sides.
 personnel up front is the biggest problem. and no coach can make up for lack of depth and skill up front. Coaching can only take you so far...at some point, you need players. and we need players.

How can you say all this and then in another thread say that you are worried about our recruiting?

Because I just guarantee on other thread I will not say anything negative about us in the next 24 hours. even though I know we are in trouble right now. :p

Overrated, I don't think so we only lost 3 good games, yes we had our shots at winning them but in no way are we overrated.
